How this trust score was computed
This reviewer publishes verdicts, not numbers, so trust comes from their recommend/pan calls: call accuracy (50%): when they say buy, do players end up satisfied, and when they say skip, do players agree; alignment (25%): do their recommendations sort games the way players do; and player-side (25%): on games where press and players sharply disagreed, whose side were they on. The blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small histories can't peg the scale, and recent verdicts weigh more (2-year half-life).
Controversy record: on 1 game where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, this reviewer sided with players 1 time.

“Released at this time, 'Big Walk' offers exceptional enjoyment with just two simple elements: adventure with friends and puzzles. There are no difficult controls or pressure to compete; simply solving unknown problems together with friends provides enough fun to keep you entertained for hours. This is a game that demonstrates just how special that so called 'simple fun' can be.”

“A unique art style that blends post-apocalyptic imagery with traditional Japanese aesthetics makes the game feel almost like Princess Mononoke set centuries into the future. Alongside its attractive visuals, the gameplay—built around the protagonist’s unusual plant-based abilities, such as high jumps and aerial movement—is fairly intriguing. However, the repetitive boss and monster patterns make it difficult to stay engaged for long play sessions, and the quality of the character’s movement animations feels somewhat lacking. The game also lacks the kind of cinematic direction often seen in AAA titles, which makes it harder to become fully immersed in the story.”

“'Culdcept Begins' is a title that has undergone a transformation equivalent to a renewal compared to its predecessor. Of course, there are some somewhat difficult parts in the deck-building section, but I think it still captures the essence well enough to fully live up to the subtitle 'Begins'.”

“Still Fun, Despite Its Many Flaws With its full release, Palworld has changed in many ways. The world now feels more inviting to explore, with far more things to see and do. However, its inconvenient mechanics and underdeveloped elements are still easy to notice. Setting out on an adventure with your Pals remains an enjoyable experience, but there is clearly still plenty that needs to be improved.”

“Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced may not be the Assassin’s Creed game you’ve been looking for. But one thing seems clear: it marks the revival of one of the greatest pirate games ever made. With its previously uneven narrative refined and its visuals upgraded for the current generation, it now offers even more to appreciate. It seems unlikely that you’ll regret playing it.”
