How this trust score was computed
This reviewer publishes verdicts, not numbers, so trust comes from their recommend/pan calls: call accuracy (50%): when they say buy, do players end up satisfied, and when they say skip, do players agree; alignment (25%): do their recommendations sort games the way players do; and player-side (25%): on games where press and players sharply disagreed, whose side were they on. The blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small histories can't peg the scale, and recent verdicts weigh more (2-year half-life).

Outlet vs. players
Each dot is a game both this outlet and players scored. The dashed line is perfect agreement: dots above it mean the outlet was more generous than players, below it more harsh.

“I must say that Night in the Woods has me intrigued and already I want to play through it again to get what I missed and spend some more time with Gregg. It's certainly a satisfying experience and if you are looking for a story driven title to play then Night in the Woods is certainly for you, even if the ending left me annoyed.”

“Mercenary Kings: Reloaded Edition is a neat combination of Monster Hunter style grinding and Mega Man platforming and gunplay. Although it can be a little grind-heavy at times, the core gameplay loop is pretty dang fun -- especially when playing online co-op.”

“Tachyon Project is a fine dual stick shooter. For some it might be a little light on content, but for any high score junkie it is a title I'd recommend as I have been having a great deal of fun with it.”
