How this trust score was computed
Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

- 75Splatoon RaidersJul 27, 2026
“Splatoon Raiders is a game that consistently delivers plenty of fun, thanks largely to its excellent core gameplay and technical polish. The mission pacing and looter-shooter structure make the title ideal for short play sessions, while massive bosses lend the campaign a real sense of scale. At the same time, the game lacks variety - both in terms of locations and mission types - which quickly leads to a sense of repetition. Furthermore, limitations within the online mode restrict the kind of freedom that is absolutely crucial to this genre.”

“The variety of character abilities is pure poetry—classic Devil May Cry. Even the story holds its own by fleshing out the backgrounds of certain characters. The problem lies in the pacing; repetitive levels quickly lead to boredom.”

“This fox pilot may take off often, but he likes to stick to the same old route. I appreciated their approach to replayability, but unless a player is determined enough to visit every planet, they’ll likely just make a quick dash through the game and put it back on the shelf. This comeback simply offers too little - and the fact that there are only three multiplayer maps sums that up perfectly. It remains a solid title, yet one that won't let you forget it’s deeply rooted in the last century.”

“There's no art in making a long game. The trick is keeping the player interested when making one. Tales of Arise doesn't adhere to this principle, overdoing it on many levels. Bosses are sponges, the amount of dialogue becomes overwhelming, and the plot becomes muddled. If you can swallow these "overdoses," you'll be treated to a JRPG that captivates with its art style and delights with dynamic combat.”

“Different gameplay experience but with 60 fps - which may be crucial compared to EA FC and "30". The price for this is outdated graphics, but thankfully, the online experience isn't as lacking as the Switch games tends to be (there's no issue finding an opponent). They need to improve their goalkeeping, defense mechanics, and player movement, but their focus on more thoughtful actions will captivate many football fans. I wish that the teams made in offline World Tour couldn't be picked for ranked matches (You'll be playing with some teams with all football legends), because it's sickening for those who don't find the need playing with AI.”

“Yoshi has lost his platforming character, and learning the secrets of each page has its limits. He will surprise you occasionally, but he can also be boring. Every good thing I see here has a constant reminder that it's not a game for me - It's even more kid-friendly than previous Yoshi games. There's no chance for failure and that diminishes the experience. You can have fun with it, but in limited amounts, and the need for a break increases with age.”

“Fever Rackets doesn't disrupt the pace of the game or spoil the fun – it's chaos that reflects its premise and is enjoyable. They've improved the game mechanics, HP is a surprisingly accurate and well-built addition, and the roster is large. Just don't buy it solely for solo play, as the campaign is a glorified tutorial. It also has Nintendo's typical quirks in the online modes – why can't I play ranked doubles with a partner of my choice?”

“The music creates a great atmosphere, and it's great that the game demands full engagement and doesn't just hand everything to you on a silver platter. The possibility of failure will be frequent, which is also unusual for the genre. It's a shame there's no voice acting to enhance the experience, and the graphic style clashes strongly with the horror genre.”

“Satisfying gunplay and a nice pace. Cross-platform support is something that should always be available on Switch – there are no online crowds – and here they've provided a full range of control options. If the AI were better and the environments weren't so repetitive, it would be a hit.”

“Pokémon may never have looked so good. The ability to talk to them or care for them is probably a fan's dream come true. The post-apocalyptic setting itself is a great excuse to give us a clear area to develop, as well as an interesting plot device. The downsides are the mediocre controls and the sheer number of resources, which can be easily lost when you have to keep them in separate chests.”
