How this score was computed
The VGC Score is a weighted blend on a press-comparable 0-100 quality scale. Steam approval rates are first calibrated (95% positive on Steam ≈ 89.5 quality, since Steam approval skews high). Press and tracked creator reviews each count ~2x a player review and share one cap against player evidence (creator buy/skip calls pool into an approval rate, calibrated like Steam approval); all-time sentiment is capped and halved (it's context, not verdict); reviews of the current build carry the most weight when a fresh patch anchors the window; and a 'typical game' prior keeps small samples from pegging the scale. Because press reviews and Metacritic user aggregates describe the launch build, their weight decays as the game ages (3-year half-life after a 1-year grace). That's how a game that launched rough can outgrow its old reception once updates win players over. Reviews under 2h playtime (the refund window), non-Steam activations, and free copies are downweighted.

“As usual the new zombie map feels like the main event, but Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare: Sabotage is a mostly successful injection of new stuff to do.”

“Rave in the Redwoods is only the best part of an all-around solid bit of DLC. If Infinity Ward can keep it up for three more instalments it ought to have no trouble retaining fans’ attention all the way through to the next Call of Duty this fall.”

“As it usually goes for Call of Duty DLCs, there’s something new, something old and something dead. In this case we get three varied new maps, a remake of Afghan from Modern Warfare 2, and a zombie mode that in my opinion surpasses the original one. [04/2017, p.73]”

“Exactly what Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare needed.”

“Activision should probably rethink the formula for Call of Duty's DLCs. Nevertheless, Sabotage is a DLC with no real flaws nor weaknesses, some good multiplayer maps and an exciting zombie mode, but at the same time with no particular inspiration.”

“Overall, I have no issues in recommending Sabotage for fans of Call of Duty; perhaps the most solid DLC offering from the franchise in a while, the quality of both the multiplayer maps and the new Zombie film can not be understated.”

“Sabotage is a good introduction to the DLC schedule for Infinite Warfare, with some solid multiplayer maps and a very strong Zombies outing.”

“Sabotage is a solid DLC, especially within its very funny Zombie mode.”

“After spending quite a bit of time with the DLC, I would venture to say that it is the best we’ve seen in a long time! Infinity Ward and Activision definitely put their best foot forward, and it shows.”

“Poorly designed maps, a Zombies update that gets repetitive pretty fast and -overall- too little content to justify its price tag. That’s -in a nutshell- what the “Sabotage” DLC has to offer.”
