How this score was computed
The VGC Score is a weighted blend on a press-comparable 0-100 quality scale. Steam approval rates are first calibrated (95% positive on Steam ≈ 89.5 quality, since Steam approval skews high). Press and tracked creator reviews each count ~2x a player review and share one cap against player evidence (creator buy/skip calls pool into an approval rate, calibrated like Steam approval); all-time sentiment is capped and halved (it's context, not verdict); reviews of the current build carry the most weight when a fresh patch anchors the window; and a 'typical game' prior keeps small samples from pegging the scale. Because press reviews and Metacritic user aggregates describe the launch build, their weight decays as the game ages (3-year half-life after a 1-year grace). That's how a game that launched rough can outgrow its old reception once updates win players over. Reviews under 2h playtime (the refund window), non-Steam activations, and free copies are downweighted.
| Component | Positive | Quality (0-100) | Weight (pseudo-reviews) |

| All-time Steam reviews | 89% | 83 | 1000 |

“Indika is more than a game. It’s a fascinating, one-of-a-kind experience, playing with conventions and instilling disturbing thoughts in our heads. If only developers didn’t desperately try to avoid sticking a “walking sim” label to their work…”

“Indika is a treasure of a game, an adventure that truly defies expectations. Constantly surprising and laudably bold in its subject matter, this story of a questioning nun and the devil in her head is among the best things I’ve ever played. A little dash of jank does nothing to take away what this game is - a landmark of strange and fascinating storytelling.”

“INDIKA is a game that, with its specific themes, can intrigue the player and attract for a longer time. This was the case for me, especially since I am a huge fan of the directors who inspired the story. I am wholeheartedly able to recommend the game to people who like specific and unusual story experiences. I will look forward with curiosity to the next game from Odd Meter.”

“INDIKA is an eclectic mix of graphic styles and gameplay about a young nineteenth-century Russian nun that will keep you glued to your seat with its challenging but mature reflection on faith and human morality. ”

“Indika is well worth your time, especially if you have a rather complex or, dare I say it, messy relationship with organized religion. Its approach to theology and philosophy doesn’t break new ground but does present these questions within the evolving interactive media of video games. I hope this isn’t the last that we see of the character, her world, or her devil. Even if it is, the game’s final moments will stick with me, haunting the corners of my imagination, for some time.”

“To put it bluntly, INDIKA is a pretentious nothing. A theatrical production with a poorly written idea tried to put it in the form of a game, which is severely lacking both story and gameplay.”

“Indika is an experience that is unique and covers a sensitive topic that very few developers tend to tackle. It does this in a way that feels different, beautiful, and grief at the same time. The dull and grey world of Indika somehow feels alive after every colorful minigame you complete, and by the end of the game, you feel satisfied and fulfilled. Very few games of Indika’s nature tend to give this feeling upon completion. Indika is a narrative-heavy title, which makes it best for players who love adventures revolving around story and thought-provoking narration rather than fighting off villains or liberating entire countries. If you are looking for a strictly narrative experience with a twist and something different, Indika is the game you should definitely check out.”

“Indika is a thrilling game with wild scenarios, well-integrated music, graphics, and gameplay. However, it's slightly marred by minor glitches during environment transitions and repetitive point-collecting mechanics.”

“Imperfect and insufficiently interactive, but an original game with thick atmosphere and interesting topics.”

“More than a game, Indika is a narrative experience that not only approaches religion from a philosophical perspective, but also poses a satirical critique of the videogame industry itself. A title that invites us to immerse ourselves in a unique, strange and emotionally impacting journey.”

This narrative masterpiece seamlessly blends chaos and intensity with comedic and satirical elements. Thanks to this combination, you’re treated to a unique and captivating gaming experience.
