How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

    The Sinking City 2Aug 30, 2026

The Sinking City 2 is a linear and utterly derivative game that is nonetheless well-crafted and visually stunning. That said, it can still be enjoyable if you ignore its toothless political agenda and a number of idiotic design choices. This budget Resident Evil clone can very well hold its own against other horror projects on the indie scene, which is no small achievement.

Asobo Studio has delivered a fantastic adventure, leagues ahead of A Plague Tale: Requiem, and a clear demonstration of how much the team has grown. Unique, story-driven single-player experiences like this don't come around nearly as often these days, so this isn't one to skip. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is absolutely worth playing.

    Mortal Shell IIAug 17, 2026

Mortal Shell II turned out to be a benchmark work of fixing the mistakes of its predecessor. The world exploration is engaging, and the player is rewarded for their curiosity. The weapons and shells offer plenty of room for experimentation. Of course, Cold Symmetry won't escape the label of "yet another Dark Souls clone," but the studio has done a lot to appeal to players who consciously avoid this genre.

Beast of ReincarnationAug 14, 2026 · Алексей Егоров

Is it worth giving the game a chance? Yes, but don't expect to suddenly discover a "hidden gem." In Beast of Reincarnation, there's roughly an equal mix of what can captivate you and what makes you yawn. Moreover, Game Freak isn't doing itself any favors by borrowing so heavily from other projects without managing to fully deliver on any of it.

Moss: The Forgotten Relic Aug 7, 2026 · Alexander Loginov

Moss: The Forgotten Relic stays true to the original, offering charming animations, interesting puzzles, and pleasing visuals. So it's still enjoyable to support the mouse Quill even without a VR headset.

The final verdict is disappointing. Halo Studios is not only incapable of making a quality brand-new game, but they can't even handle a remake of a timeless classic. Yes, Combat Evolved may seem somewhat dated in places today, but it still generates unforgettable battles. Halo: Campaign Evolved brought positive changes to the original campaign, but much of it also turned out to be either superfluous or downright ridiculous. What's especially frustrating is the deterioration of combat dynamics combined with the dumbing down of the AI. And the absence of multiplayer simply can't be ignored.

    Gothic 1 RemakeJul 29, 2026 · Вадим Съедин

Gothic 1 Remake turned out to be a rather mixed remake. The final result was influenced by the team's inexperience and budget constraints, which led to a certain rawness in the remake and the implementation of both successful and unsuccessful solutions. Despite this, Alkimia Interactive handled the legacy of Piranha Bytes with care, recreating Gothic 1 in a way that makes it accessible to a wider audience.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is wonderful game for anyone looking to unwind and recapture a sense of childhood wonder. No one is trying to kill you, punish you by taking away hard-earned progress, or expect you to spend hours memorizing boss attack patterns. This is Nintendo's quintessential take on a family game—one where simply taking in the world and interacting with it feels rewarding in its own right. Just don't expect it to be anything more than that.

    Tour de France 2026Jul 22, 2026 · Вадим Съедин

You can't say that Tour de France 2026 has stopped evolving, but progress is minimal given the microscopic budgets and very narrow audience of cycling game fans. The question is whether the franchise is valuable enough to Nacon, which is on the brink of bankruptcy.

    Star FoxJul 20, 2026

The Star Fox remake stays too faithful to the original. Even the tank controls are implemented terribly. And aside from the short length, the price becomes a major factor. The question is: are you willing to pay $60 for the cartridge (or $50 for the digital version) to get a top-notch but short adventure?

Who cares that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is built on a thirteen-year-old game. It still captivates and literally keeps you glued to the screen.

    A.I.L.AJul 9, 2026 · Александр Логинов

A.I.L.A comes across as an interesting experiment with its concept. However, the authors clearly could not handle their own ambitions and inexperience. As a result, the gameplay was completely botched, and the endings turned out to be banal, despite an engaging story.
