How this score was computed
The VGC Score is a weighted blend on a press-comparable 0-100 quality scale. Steam approval rates are first calibrated (95% positive on Steam ≈ 89.5 quality, since Steam approval skews high). Press and tracked creator reviews each count ~2x a player review and share one cap against player evidence (creator buy/skip calls pool into an approval rate, calibrated like Steam approval); all-time sentiment is capped and halved (it's context, not verdict); reviews of the current build carry the most weight when a fresh patch anchors the window; and a 'typical game' prior keeps small samples from pegging the scale. Because press reviews and Metacritic user aggregates describe the launch build, their weight decays as the game ages (3-year half-life after a 1-year grace). That's how a game that launched rough can outgrow its old reception once updates win players over. Reviews under 2h playtime (the refund window), non-Steam activations, and free copies are downweighted.
| Component | Positive | Quality (0-100) | Weight (pseudo-reviews) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Press reviews (OpenCritic) | – | 83 | 99 |
| All-time Steam reviews | 88% | 82 | 1000 |
| Metacritic user ratings | – | – | 0 |
| Post-patch Steam reviews (trust-weighted) | 89% | 83 | 2799 |
| Calibration prior (typical game) | – | 72 | 50 |

“Two Point Campus is a really good and fun game that I can highly recommend. The game’s humor won’t offend even older audiences, which is saying something. It’s very accessible and has solid gameplay mechanics when it comes to building and management. If you’ve played Two Point Hospital and enjoyed it, you’re sure to love Two Point Campus as well.”

“If Two Point Hospital was your jam when it was released four years ago then Two Point Campus will no doubt already be on your wishlist. It's not perfect and needs some tweaks but it is still a blast to play when everything's working out.”

“Two Point Campus is a masterclass management sim game bursting with creative new ideas and a wholly original approach to success. Its wholesome 'invest in students and they'll invest in you' strategy is a beautiful way to put a positive spin on an otherwise NPC-exploitative genre. Dampened only by some technical issues, it still manages to be a standout amongst its peers and shine brightly at the top of the class.”

“Two Point Campus is a phenomenal new entry into the Two Point universe. Its goofy sense of humor hides what is otherwise a deep and challenging management game, and it tests your ability to run a successful institution while also caring for the people that reside with it.”

“Two Point Campus forgives a lot and offers pure fun. This game sucks you in fast and makes it easy to forget about the world around you.”

“For what it’s doing, Two Point Campus gets more than a passing grade for just being a fun sim that lets you tweak the experience how you see fit. True, you can spend 20 hours just completing each campus site and getting all the stars, but Two Point Studio’s latest is a forever kind of experience, as long as you’re not sick of being a campus despot, building toilets and dormitories far apart from one block to the other. And juggling between spy school syllabus’ and literal clown college.”

“Two Point Campus is a delightful treat. Consistently funny, enormously satisfying, and challenging to boot, it'll take you right back to the best years of your life, or make the worst years of your life better.”

“If you enjoyed Two Point Hospital on Xbox Game Pass, you're going to love Two Point Campus as well. It's a great sequel in a superb simulation series, and the college/university setting feels like the perfect next step for Two Point Studios' brand of silly, strategic fun. It's also one of the most enjoyable Xbox simulation games out there thanks to its well-designed control scheme, complete with a single-player campaign you'll almost certainly get invested in.So, does it pass the test...? Absolutely!”

“Two Point Campus is a fantastic management game that picks up right where Two Point Hospital left off. It isn't the most innovative successor, but it doesn't have to be. Two Point Campus offers more than enough to keep you entertained right up to graduation.”

“Two Point Campus is a very relaxing game, which fits perfectly between more stressful and action oriented games. It's fun to create a life at University in your image and try to be the best school of all. The game remains a simulator, but the arcade aspect of the title is definitely very present. Finally, the fact that its on Game Pass makes it very accessible, but we definitely do prefer playing it on PC.”
