How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

    STEINS;GATE RE:BOOTAug 13, 2026 · Kevin Cormier

All this to say that Steins;Gate Re:Boot is by no means essential, but fans will be happy to see it released. Obviously, the main reason is that it makes the game more accessible by bringing it to new consoles. The additions, while interesting, aren’t necessary at all and add very little to the final product. But the bottom line remains: Steins;Gate is undoubtedly the best visual novel ever made—even today, 17 years after its initial release. Here’s hoping it will be discovered by those who haven’t yet experienced the adventure. And for that reason alone, the game is worth it.

Halo: Campaign EvolvedJul 23, 2026 · Anthony Gravel

Halo: Campaign Evolved is a respectful remake that modernizes a legendary shooter without losing what made the original so memorable. Enhanced visuals, expanded content, and refined gameplay breathe new life into Master Chief’s first adventure while preserving its iconic atmosphere. Despite a few uneven additions, it stands as the definitive way to experience one of gaming’s greatest campaigns.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales successfully blends the charm of classic 2D Zelda games with Square Enix's signature HD-2D presentation and a richer narrative. Its rewarding combat, satisfying exploration, and memorable dungeons make for a consistently enjoyable adventure from start to finish. While it doesn't reinvent the action RPG formula, it delivers a polished and captivating experience that's easy to recommend.

    NBA THE RUNJun 25, 2026 · Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote

NBA The Run succeeds where many sports games fail by offering a fun experience. Its accessible controls, fast-paced matches, and excellent atmosphere help recapture some of the magic of the classic arcade basketball games of yesteryear. Not to mention that the online community is, for now, quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lack of game modes and the heavy reliance on multiplayer prevent the game from reaching its full potential. Players who love online competition will likely find plenty to enjoy for several weeks. Others, however, may realize fairly quickly that they’ve already seen most of what the game has to offer.

    007 First LightJun 11, 2026 · Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote

With 007 First Light, IO Interactive has pulled off a true tour de force. The studio doesn’t just deliver a decent adaptation of the James Bond universe. The game crafts an experience that perfectly captures what has made the character so popular for so many years. Between its excellent storyline, charismatic characters, stunning environments, solid stealth mechanics, and spectacular presentation, the game checks nearly every box. Granted, the driving sequences could have been more ambitious, and managing gadget resources can sometimes be frustrating, but these flaws are minor compared to the game’s overall quality.

    Voidling BoundJun 9, 2026 · Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote

Voidling Bound offers a unique formula that successfully blends various influences in a generally compelling way. Its system of evolving creatures is clearly its greatest strength, as are its dynamic battles, which remain enjoyable for much of the adventure. The need to adapt to different types of enemies, the numerous possibilities offered by the skill trees, and the freedom given to the player to develop their team all contribute to an engaging experience. However, the game isn’t immune to certain issues of repetitiveness. The rapidly increasing difficulty sometimes forces you to repeat the same objectives over and over, while the lack of long-term variety in the missions eventually becomes noticeable.

    Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis: Next!Jun 4, 2026 · Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote

Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis: Next! manages to provide a few hours of entertainment thanks to its accessible approach and its charming cast of characters from the brand’s famous franchises. The arcade-style tennis gameplay is generally well-executed, the special powers add a bit of personality to the matches, and the co-op mode is a welcome addition. However, the initial fun quickly fades due to extremely repetitive progression, limited content, and a clear lack of variety in the courts and activities on offer. The game constantly gives the impression that it could have offered so much more. I hope future updates will enhance the experience!

    LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark KnightJun 1, 2026 · Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight successfully celebrates the Dark Knight’s entire legacy while offering a modern, accessible adventure packed with content. Thanks to its excellent art direction, vast array of references, and open world that’s a joy to explore, the game easily ranks among the best LEGO titles of recent years. Admittedly, some side activities lack originality, and a few technical glitches occasionally slow down the pace of the adventure. However, these flaws remain relatively minor when you consider everything the game accomplishes. Although an online mode would have greatly enhanced the two-player experience. Ultimately, whether you’re a fan of the movies, the animated series, or the comic books, this title is well worth your attention.

    MixtapeMay 23, 2026 · Jonathan Laurin

Mixtape is a truly unique experience. It’s not a game that aims to impress with its difficulty or complex mechanics. On the contrary, some purists might even argue that it’s hardly a video game at all, since most of the time, we’re actually doing very little. The gameplay is minimalist and serves almost exclusively to complement the emotions, dialogue, and music.

    Bus BoundMay 20, 2026 · Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote

Bus Bound is a game that succeeds in ways we didn’t necessarily expect, while failing to take a crucial step forward. The driving is enjoyable, the environment is immersive, and its accessible approach makes it an experience that’s easy to enjoy. There’s a real quality to this unapologetic simplicity, to this desire to offer a game that can be played without pressure and that focuses on immediate enjoyment. However, that same simplicity also becomes its main drawback. The lack of depth in the management mechanics, the lack of variety in progression, and the repetitiveness that gradually sets in prevent the game from truly holding up over the long term. It remains to be seen whether this feeling will fade with the updates and additional content planned for the coming months.

    AphelionMay 15, 2026 · Jonathan Laurin

Aphelion is a narrative science-fiction game that places a strong emphasis on atmosphere, exploration, and the mystery surrounding Persephone. Thanks to its stunning art direction, highly effective environmental storytelling, and clever concepts involving electromagnetic waves, the game manages to hold your interest for much of the adventure. Unfortunately, several technical issues detract from the experience. Uneven animations, problematic collisions, and certain movement-related bugs sometimes prevent the game from fully reaching its potential. After a while, the climbing sections and stealth areas became so repetitive that I found myself no longer wanting to explore the next area.

    Forza Horizon 6May 14, 2026 · Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote

Forza Horizon 6 remains an excellent racing game. It’s beautiful, smooth, accessible, and offers an impressive amount of content. In fact, the online modes are well-designed, and the new menu makes them much easier to access. However, the game also feels like it’s playing it too safe by relying heavily on the foundations laid by its predecessors. For a new player, it’s an ideal entry point into the franchise. For veterans, it’s a return to familiar territory, with a few interesting detours, but no real surprises.

    Invincible VSMay 12, 2026 · Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote

From the very beginning, I was really excited about Invincible VS. As a huge fan of the franchise, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the game. When you think about it, for a debut title, the studio has managed to deliver explosive, intense, and spectacular battles that truly do justice to the universe. The 3-on-3 combat system works a treat, the cast is compelling, and the visuals pack a punch. It all adds up to an obvious love letter to fans of the franchise. Unfortunately, all this potential is held back by content that’s far too thin to sustain the experience over the long term, particularly for players less interested in competitive multiplayer. It’s an excellent starting point for a potential sequel or for an experience that could grow over time.

    KilnMay 6, 2026 · Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote

Kiln is a frustrating game to review, because it’s impossible not to see the full potential of its concept. Its premise is brilliant, its pottery-making mechanics are ingenious, and its art direction is flawless. The foundations of an excellent multiplayer game are clearly there, and when everything works as intended, the experience can be genuinely fun. However, in its current state, the game mostly feels like it was released far too early. Its glaring lack of content, rapid repetitiveness, uninspiring progression, balancing issues, and—above all—an already concerning player base significantly limit the enjoyment it can offer. Despite its more-than-attractive price, Kiln remains, above all, an excellent idea that still needs a lot more work.
