How this score was computed
The VGC Score is a weighted blend on a press-comparable 0-100 quality scale. Steam approval rates are first calibrated (95% positive on Steam ≈ 89.5 quality, since Steam approval skews high). Press and tracked creator reviews each count ~2x a player review and share one cap against player evidence (creator buy/skip calls pool into an approval rate, calibrated like Steam approval); all-time sentiment is capped and halved (it's context, not verdict); reviews of the current build carry the most weight when a fresh patch anchors the window; and a 'typical game' prior keeps small samples from pegging the scale. Because press reviews and Metacritic user aggregates describe the launch build, their weight decays as the game ages (3-year half-life after a 1-year grace). That's how a game that launched rough can outgrow its old reception once updates win players over. Reviews under 2h playtime (the refund window), non-Steam activations, and free copies are downweighted.

“Although there are many things to complain about in Drug Dealer Simulator 2, it is not that bad a production. You can have a lot of fun with it, and thus spend many enjoyable hours. It is also a full-fledged sequel that surpasses its predecessor. Fans of the first part should find themselves quite well in the new installment.”

“The idea of the title seems to be very interesting, unfortunately it needs updates to make the most of the features can really elevate it in the market. The ability to use parkour to move with agility within the game world is presented early on, but then does not find proper use during gameplay. The management features of the title are unintuitive, and the in-game manual offers little insight. To be commended, however, is the well-constructed game world and the ability to move comfortably between islands using one's own boat.”

“I think that’s where Drug Dealer Simulator 2 fails the most. From start to finish, it feels like a wholly unpolished, underdeveloped game. There’s no denying that when compared to its predecessor, Drug Dealer Simulator 2 outshines it in almost every way. But that doesn’t mean it’s something I can necessarily recommend. If you loved the original, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the sequel. If you’ve never heard of the series and are interested in jumping in, keep your expectations in check. I see potential in Drug Dealer Simulator 2, but as of now, it’s a bust.”
