How this score was computed
The VGC Score is a weighted blend on a press-comparable 0-100 quality scale. Steam approval rates are first calibrated (95% positive on Steam ≈ 89.5 quality, since Steam approval skews high). Press and tracked creator reviews each count ~2x a player review and share one cap against player evidence (creator buy/skip calls pool into an approval rate, calibrated like Steam approval); all-time sentiment is capped and halved (it's context, not verdict); reviews of the current build carry the most weight when a fresh patch anchors the window; and a 'typical game' prior keeps small samples from pegging the scale. Because press reviews and Metacritic user aggregates describe the launch build, their weight decays as the game ages (3-year half-life after a 1-year grace). That's how a game that launched rough can outgrow its old reception once updates win players over. Reviews under 2h playtime (the refund window), non-Steam activations, and free copies are downweighted.
| Component | Positive | Quality (0-100) | Weight (pseudo-reviews) |

| Metacritic user ratings | – | – | 0 |
| Post-patch Steam reviews (trust-weighted) | 100% | 97 | 0 |

“Still There’s elaborate puzzles and willfully obscure explanations may scare off casual players, but stick with this meditative adventure and you’ll find much to enjoy within its thoughtful depiction of a lonely life in space.”

“Still There is an unassuming little game with the potential to completely overwhelm you. You will laugh with it, marvel at its plot twists and despair at the fate of ordinary people. This emotional experience is further underscored by great music and beautiful visuals. The only possible rebuke? The puzzles are a tad more difficult than they should be.”

“Still There has far more to offer than it might initially appear, moving past some obvious space-related clichés to create a genuinely touching story. It’s only let-down by its slightly hyper-masculine humour content. Prepare for dick jokes.”

“Still There is like a science fiction book; its story is not that gripping or exciting, but you will get your share of twists and mysteries, and it ends with a very dramatic finale. In fact, I wish there was more narrative text for me to read in addition to the game’s many puzzles.”

“An intense drama in a confined area. The puzzles make this adventure challenging, the story makes it unforgettable. ”

“Still There is a truly convincing narrative experience that features a surprising and ambivalent story, filled with light and dramatic events, but scatterred with some challenging puzzles that artificially extend the adventure.”

“Apart from a few problems of readability for the puzzles elements, Still There is an extremely bright, challenging, "tactile" point-and-click, which manages to gracefully tell a story of atonement, torment, dramatic but at the same time light, ironic, always ready to throw the right inspired quotation.”

“Still There is slow and it takes patience to get through the introductory sections, but after players have settled into the world and lived in Karl’s skin, it does an amazing job of telling one of the most touching stories I’ve seen in ages.”

“An interesting adventure, well built but a bit slow and with some design issues.”
