How this score was computed
The VGC Score is a weighted blend on a press-comparable 0-100 quality scale. Steam approval rates are first calibrated (95% positive on Steam ≈ 89.5 quality, since Steam approval skews high). Press and tracked creator reviews each count ~2x a player review and share one cap against player evidence (creator buy/skip calls pool into an approval rate, calibrated like Steam approval); all-time sentiment is capped and halved (it's context, not verdict); reviews of the current build carry the most weight when a fresh patch anchors the window; and a 'typical game' prior keeps small samples from pegging the scale. Because press reviews and Metacritic user aggregates describe the launch build, their weight decays as the game ages (3-year half-life after a 1-year grace). That's how a game that launched rough can outgrow its old reception once updates win players over. Reviews under 2h playtime (the refund window), non-Steam activations, and free copies are downweighted.

“Looney Tunes: Wacky World Of Sports' multiplayer can be fun in short bursts, especially if you just want to play a quick round of golf with friends. From a general audio-visual perspective, this is a good franchise representation. As a sports collection, though, it's clunky and frustrating. Playing with others will elevate this, but not by much.”

“Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports is a family-friendly title that does not take many risks, nor does it do much to shake up the family-oriented sports game genre. The game presents itself as merely another flavor of the sort of game that can be played when your buddies are over, and it does a solid job at that. If you are a parent thinking about getting this game for your child, this would be a solid way of introducing them to the wacky world of Looney Tunes.”

“Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports may not be terribly wacky, but it shines more so than it fumbles. Tennis and Soccer are the best sports in this package, with Basketball and Golf just shy of being somewhat entertaining. The real star of the show; however, is the presentation given to the cast. Sure, I would do with some actual victory animations and some more buffoonery, but the depiction of these characters and the cel-shaded 3D models go a long way.”

The game's simple controls and spontaneous designs make it suitable for kids and other casual players seeking a good time. It may not have the finesse of other titles in its genre and isn't as endearing or deep as competing sports games.”

“When it comes to presentation, Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports does almost everything right. The game just looks great and also looks cheerful and nicely chaotic. When it comes to gameplay and especially content, it is a bit less impressive. The game modes are too sparsely developed, which means that everything comes down to the same thing. The four sports all play well and I actually don't have a single sport of which I say: No, there's nothing to it. In fact, that is not possible because the tournaments offer all four sports. The challenge mode then offers extra mini-games, but unfortunately they could not keep me glued to the TV. The old animated series could. However, I was able to entertain myself with the game for a few hours and I certainly do not want to advise against the game, although you do have to be a reasonable fan or try to appeal to a young audience who wants to buy this game. Only then will this game undoubtedly be worth buying.”

“This isn’t a game devoid of issues. The loading times are a bit rough, and, as previously mentioned, football and basketball feature some confusing controls. That doesn’t make Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports any less entertaining. I never thought I’d enjoy this game so much, but it simply nails where it needs to. It’s a pretty charming collection of really fun sports titles, with neat visuals, intuitive controls, and a lot of content. It’s an ACME-sponsored product you can actually trust.”
