“Path of Exile fans should be very excited. ARPG fans who are yet to be Path of Exile fans will be converted. And players who are new to loot-based ARPGs will find a new series to love.”

“Despite technical & network issues, Path of Exile 2 is clearly set on being the de facto soon-to-be-free-to-play (getting in now requires you to fork out RM130+) action RPG of whichever year it fully releases. The Early Access is already packed with so much to do and a lot to strive forward to, with multitudes of builds for the available 6 base classes, the passive skill trees they're situated on, and the many Skill Gems, Support Gems, and other buffs & powerups that lead to crazy builds limited by your imagination and time constraints. The levels are brutal, the boss fights will test you, and you will savour every punishing moment of it while you strive to gear up and play better.”

“Immediately one of the best ARPGs even while on early access. The boss design is one of its best features. It highlights Grinding Gear Games' amazing attention to detail when it comes to their games. The content you can consume on this free-to-play game is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition.”

“There are some perfectly good reasons to stay clear of PoE2 until it reaches full release in the future. If you start playing right now, you only get part of the full game. There are only three acts and half of the characters. Some of the gameplay and core mechanics will change over time, and there are still plenty of bugs, some of them game-crashing, to contend with.”

“Path of Exile 2 is everything you could want in a sequel, providing nearly unmatched build-crafting, stunning environments, and engaging boss fights. Even in its current state, the title of "ARPG King" is only a matter of time.”

“Path of Exile 2 is looking to become everything I could have hoped it to be and then some. Graphically, it looks better, and the overall interest levels and action elements have been buffed to shine. This title has managed to turn out so much better than its predecessor in most ways possible.”

“Path of Exile 2’s redefined action and surprisingly fleshed-out endgame have gotten this sequel off to an exciting start, even in its predictably rocky early access state.”

“Path of Exile 2‘s difficulty, combat, art, and map designs are something that keep pulling you in. No matter how many times you die, or how many times you have to adjust your build, you just keep coming right back. This is a game that is firing on absolutely all cylinders and shows no signs of slowing down.”

“I was never the biggest fan of Path of Exile, its overly complex systems always scared me off. But with Path of Exile 2, Grinding Gear Games has done the unthinkable. The changes to systems that bothered me from the first game. They’ve crafted an ARPG that’s not only more accessible but also improves on everything from the first game. It dials the experience up to 11, making it nearly impossible to put down. This is an enjoyable and approachable ARPG that practically begs to be played.”

“After over 50 hours with Path of Exile 2's early access, I feel I've only scratched the surface of what could become one of the best ARPGs ever made.”

“Path of Exile 2 is already a lot of fun in Early Access! I couldn't get enough of the ARPG while playing and sometimes worked on my character until five o'clock in the morning or just wanted to defeat this one boss and then completely lose myself in the next area.”

“It's too early to give out the crown of the genre, but Path of Exile 2 has all the makings for it.”
