How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword shines with thrilling combat, but its level design feels stretched at times.

A gripping vampire-RPG with tough choices, strong dialogue, and a cool parry system, but a formulaic open world.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is the nearly perfect sequel that builds on the narrative strengths of its predecessors and finally complements them with great gameplay.

    The Sinking City 2Aug 17, 2026

The Sinking City 2 is an atmospheric, rock-solid survival horror game that takes its cues heavily from the genre’s heavyweights, but – due to budget constraints and some gameplay flaws– doesn’t quite make it into the top flight.

Moonlight Peaks is a good farming sim with likeable characters, but it doesn't get enough out of the vampire theme.

Resynced is a worthy remake of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. Ubisoft has sensibly streamlined and modernised the game, and added new content. Despite offering little in the way of challenge, the whole pirat adventure has plenty to offer.

Deer & Boy definitely has them, and if you're looking for an emotional adventure for in between – pun intended – the game is definitely worth it.

Solarpunk is a solid crafting adventure, but its progression is too linear and it fails to fully capitalize on the potential of its game world.

  • Gothic 1 RemakeJun 5, 2026 · Stephan Zielke

Unlike the original, the remake offers three different difficulty levels and a glossary where you can find out where previously discovered NPCs are located and what they offer – nevertheless, the experience is still uncomfortable and unforgiving for long stretches.

    LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark KnightMay 18, 2026 · Dennis Müller

But all criticism quickly disappears when I slip into my blue-grey Batsuit in the Batcave, get the 1989 Batmobile out of the garage, and speed through the rain-soaked streets of Gotham, where there's something cool to discover on every corner.
