How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

Resonance: A Plague Tale LegacyAug 26, 2026 · Alejandro Segovia

Even as derivative as its gameplay may be, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is still a damn fine action-adventure epic. It’s tight in scope, knows where to place its focus, and fills the void with a style of game that’s been gone longer than it needed to be. It may not be my favorite game in the A Plague Tale franchise, but it’s proof there is still light to be found in this nihilistic world.

Chuhai Labs understands the fundamentals of what makes games in this genre tick. Even lacking polish in some small, key areas, if you're hungry for an on-rails shooter I can see this briefly satiating the hunger.

Game Freak has crafted a very good action, role-playing game in Beast of Reincarnation, and minor gameplay quirks and a so-so story don't detract from the fun.

Halo: Campaign EvolvedJul 23, 2026 · Ainsley Bowden

While it won’t have the same impact it did 25 years ago, and it comes with some caveats, Halo Campaign Evolved is another fun journey through the maw. With vastly improved visuals, new experiences and story context, and new ways to play, it’s a great time to revisit a classic or to enjoy it for the first time.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag ResyncedJul 8, 2026 · Alejandro Segovia

Even meant as a good will gesture to tickle the nostalgia many hold for the 2013 original, I can say Ubisoft was successful in delivering a great modern update to its perennial, pirate-themed classic.
