How this score was computed
The VGC Score is a weighted blend on a press-comparable 0-100 quality scale. Steam approval rates are first calibrated (95% positive on Steam ≈ 89.5 quality, since Steam approval skews high). Press and tracked creator reviews each count ~2x a player review and share one cap against player evidence (creator buy/skip calls pool into an approval rate, calibrated like Steam approval); all-time sentiment is capped and halved (it's context, not verdict); reviews of the current build carry the most weight when a fresh patch anchors the window; and a 'typical game' prior keeps small samples from pegging the scale. Because press reviews and Metacritic user aggregates describe the launch build, their weight decays as the game ages (3-year half-life after a 1-year grace). That's how a game that launched rough can outgrow its old reception once updates win players over. Reviews under 2h playtime (the refund window), non-Steam activations, and free copies are downweighted.

| Metacritic user ratings | – | 69 | 26 |
| Post-patch Steam reviews (trust-weighted) | 85% | 79 | 1264 |

“If you're a fan of puzzle/exploration, or sci-fi games and you don't have the money to afford a spaceship, I highly recommend checking out Deliver Us The Moon. While the game lacks typical sci-fi stuff like alien creatures and other-worldly monsters, it's a fun adventure filled with surprises, that will make you want to keep playing.”

“Deliver Us The Moon is a game that does well on its main front: its story. It may lack on the gameplay side of things, but the story and detailed aesthetic and atmosphere more than make up for it, providing for a very cool cinematic experience.”

“Of course, for someone Deliver Us the Moon may seem too long and boring with extra sections of stealth or crooked jumps on platforms, but this project from KeokeN Interactive is sometimes better at conveying the atmosphere of danger and loneliness than multimillion-dollar blockbusters. And the story itself with a strong life message deserves recognition.”

“Deliver Us The Moon is a great game, but Nintendo Switch is perhaps not the best platform for it to enjoy. However, if you have no other option to play it on, it is still better to have it than not have it on your platform of choice. Just like its development cycle, the Nintendo Switch port is a choppy one. It would help if you went in prepared for low resolution and inconsistent frames all around, but this is one of the best narrative titles out there, so I will still count it as a win for Nintendo Switch players. If you have other platforms, experience Deliver Us the Moon on them, but if you are strictly a Nintendo Switch player, then you must give this game a shot if you love narrative-driven titles.”

“KeokeN’s project initially seems destined for the stars but ultimately doesn't break through the stratosphere.”

“Deliver Us the Moon is a short but exciting adventure set in the beautiful depths of space. With the fate of humanity in your hands you'll feel determined to see things through to the end. There's a good variety of puzzles you'll need to solve, and while none of them are particularly difficult, the real pleasure is in seeing what new wonders the game has in store for you in each area.”

“Deliver Us The Moon will keep players hooked with an interesting mystery and new mechanics at a regular pace but predictability and performance issues hinder journey into space.”

“Deliver Us the Moon is an excellent narrative adventure that comes to Switch mostly unscathed. The docked experience is pretty smooth, and all things considered, the concessions here are fairly light for a Switch port. The handheld experience is fine when navigating tight space station interiors, but gets extremely blurry anytime you enter a more complex environment or step out onto the surface of the moon. It isn’t unplayable in these moments, but the difference was enough to catch me off guard. Still if you’ve waited this long to play it on Switch, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. This is an enthralling story that is definitely worth experiencing.”

“I would highly encourage anyone to experience Deliver us the Moon either on the PC or the consoles that have now launched. It’s not very long clocking in anywhere between six to eight hours depending on how lost you get, but it’s a well told and well built experience that had me feeling rather emotional by the end. With plenty of trials to overcome and a silent protagonist that is probably one of the better ones that I’ve ever had the chance to travel with, finding out if you had indeed Deliver the Moon is a question that you should answer for yourselves.”

“Deliver Us The Moon is a game that, despite its simplicity and extreme linearity that doesn't give the player much freedom of exploration, brings a memorable and immersive experience, whose story captures the player's attention as many others fail to do.”

“Deliver Us The Moon is a great narrative driven adventure that feels like a space based action movie turned into a game.”
