How this score was computed
The VGC Score is a weighted blend on a press-comparable 0-100 quality scale. Steam approval rates are first calibrated (95% positive on Steam ≈ 89.5 quality, since Steam approval skews high). Press and tracked creator reviews each count ~2x a player review and share one cap against player evidence (creator buy/skip calls pool into an approval rate, calibrated like Steam approval); all-time sentiment is capped and halved (it's context, not verdict); reviews of the current build carry the most weight when a fresh patch anchors the window; and a 'typical game' prior keeps small samples from pegging the scale. Because press reviews and Metacritic user aggregates describe the launch build, their weight decays as the game ages (3-year half-life after a 1-year grace). That's how a game that launched rough can outgrow its old reception once updates win players over. Reviews under 2h playtime (the refund window), non-Steam activations, and free copies are downweighted.

“Antigraviator is not a bad futuristic racing game with nice graphics, which suffers from stupid flaws and strange design elements. If developers will fix the problems with console versions release, and offer more content, you can safely add one point to the final score.”

“I find it difficult to understand the intended market for a title that only really triumphs in its most basic components.”

“If you can handle speed then Antigraviator really delivers. A fast and fun racer.”

“As it stands now, there is a lot to like for enthusiasts of the genre, but the game feels a tad threadbare. It is certainly the beginnings of something great, and should be nourished to reach its potential.”

“Antigraviator is a long awaited PC game for me. It fulfills a need of having a racing game that doesn't anger me. I say anger because no other racing game compares to Gran Turismo, a game I have high regard for. This game fills a different need when it comes to racing, and that is to have something that fulfills the need for pure speed. In short, it is a sleek and fun racing game that can be played solo or can be played to cause mayhem with your friends, making Antigraviator a racing game not to miss out on. - Susan N.”

“Good anti-gravity racing game with traps and boosts. But there are not enough players in multiplayer and gameplay is not always fair.”

“Antigraviator has tons of potential, and there's every chance that it could attain it a few updates down its spiralling road. However, as it stands there are too many problems with the game's underpinnings that the fantastic visuals can't quite cover up.”

“Antigraviator is an exciting, fast racing game with tight controls and consistently nice tracks, but it lacks a little charm.”

“Antigraviator certainly delivers on its promise when it comes to the eyewatering speeds you’ll be racing at. It looks great, sounds great and controls great, but sadly I sometimes felt chanceless against the AI racers, which put a real dent in my overall enjoyment of the single player campaign. I’d still recommend a purchase, but mostly for some fun local couch multiplayer when you have friends over.”
