How this score was computed
The VGC Score is a weighted blend on a press-comparable 0-100 quality scale. Steam approval rates are first calibrated (95% positive on Steam ≈ 89.5 quality, since Steam approval skews high). Press and tracked creator reviews each count ~2x a player review and share one cap against player evidence (creator buy/skip calls pool into an approval rate, calibrated like Steam approval); all-time sentiment is capped and halved (it's context, not verdict); reviews of the current build carry the most weight when a fresh patch anchors the window; and a 'typical game' prior keeps small samples from pegging the scale. Because press reviews and Metacritic user aggregates describe the launch build, their weight decays as the game ages (3-year half-life after a 1-year grace). That's how a game that launched rough can outgrow its old reception once updates win players over. Reviews under 2h playtime (the refund window), non-Steam activations, and free copies are downweighted.
| Component | Positive | Quality (0-100) | Weight (pseudo-reviews) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Press reviews (OpenCritic) | – | 86 | 18 |
| All-time Steam reviews | 92% | 87 | 200 |
| Metacritic user ratings | – | – | 0 |
| Post-patch Steam reviews (trust-weighted) | 94% | 89 | 194 |
| Calibration prior (typical game) | – | 72 | 50 |

“An intriguing mix of Minesweeper and roguelike unpredictability that works well”

“This minesweeper roguelike swept me away. It took a few runs to get into things, but eventually, it managed to plant its flag into my daily rotation, and I was hooked.”

“Even in the moments playing a character class I didn't enjoy as much, I still had a good time, especially since most runs are far less than an hour. This game seems to recognize its kitchen sink gameplay concept approach and lets you fiddle with whatever aspects work best for you. Here's hoping BUCK doesn't just stick to animation in the future because their game design is rather intriguing.”

“"Let's! Revolution!" is a beautiful blend of "Minesweeper" and roguelite mechanics, but is missing the overall "wow" factor of a memorable experience.”

“Let’s! Revolution! is a satisfying fusion of systematic deduction and no-holds-barred risk. Player abilities give you enough power to take powerful swings or lethal risks. If you’re looking for a puzzle game that’s all logic, you won’t find it here. But those willing to play inside the game’s initial constraints will find that with great risk comes great reward. Let’s! Revolution!‘s commitment to character and choice are what make it a rare treat. You can’t have a revolution without getting a little messy.”

“Theoretically, Let's! Revolution! very little content. You play 10 levels and defeat the King who keeps tracking you down the levels before, and that's it. However, the characters and skills you unlock provide the challenge. In addition, you can increase the difficulty level to give you a little more challenge, without making the game really difficult. The visual representation of the game and the gameplay options and tactics you use take this game to a high level. Although a run feels conceptually the same, the skills still give the game an extra dimension, so you will soon be playing for dozens of hours. Let's! Revolution! This makes it a surprising game in my portfolio, which I really enjoyed and which also manages to live up to expectations on the console.”

“Let’s Revolution! from developers Buck and Antfood is a simple game that has a complicated underbelly of strategy and asks gamers to make sophisticated choices. While the gameplay is short in its single follow-through, its replayability shows its longevity. While not all of its elements work, especially when it comes to character choice and sometimes random enemy attacks, it’s still a fun game to come back to when you are itching for a quick gaming experience.”

“Let's! Revolution! uses the basis of a classic PC game and adds numerous layers of style and substance. It has amazingly animated characters and a gameplay loop that will hook you at each procedurally generated turn.”

“Let's! Revolution! It's a great game that mixes problem-solving, sharp strategy, and turn-based action, reveling in the obvious references and conventions of the roguelike genre. Although it lacks a certain provocative spice, it is an addictive, well-reasoned, and absolutely entertaining game.”

“I loved this on PC and I love it on console. This is such a fun and interesting title that can be enjoyed casually. Moreover, the straightforward mechanics are easy to master, and the tactical layers will test your logical mindset. Accordingly, this is an excellent indie title and I recommend buying it here! Can you stop the King and become a hero? Choose your weapons, study the map, and chase him to the ends of the Earth.”

“Unique, challenging, deep, fun and even gleefully bizarre in certain ways, Let's! Revolution! is a truly superb blend of puzzlers, strategy games and dungeon crawlers that easily makes for one of this year's most pleasant surprises.”
