How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword confirms Capcom’s success in masterfully reviving the franchise, pleasing both new and returning fans with its humorous plot, agile combat, and expansive exploration. Although it has its shortcomings—such as excessively tough bosses, limited enemy variety, and minor exploration flaws—these issues do not diminish the brilliance of this excellent title.

    STAR WARS Zero Company™Aug 31, 2026 · Alecsander Oliveira

Star Wars: Zero Company is an fun turn-based strategy game that successfully blends the engaging systems of XCOM with the aesthetics and identity of the Star Wars universe, offering an interesting story, likable characters, and deep yet accessible mechanics. However, the PC version suffers from poor optimization, with bugs, stuttering, and unreliable graphical settings holding back an otherwise excellent experience.

Mortal Shell IIAug 28, 2026 · Thiago da Silva

Mortal Shell II is an excellent soulslike that delivers simple yet brutal gameplay, featuring unique shells that alter playstyles and a dark open world with stunning landscapes. However, there is a lack of variety in melee and ranged weapons; furthermore, the fact that mini-bosses also appear as common enemies slightly detracts from the experience.

Combolands has a solid foundation, turning an unusual idea into an engaging experience at its best, with an intuitive mix of building, positioning, strategy, and combos that still rewards players who take the time to master its deeper interactions. The variety of guilds, items, builds, progression, and difficulty levels provides plenty of reasons to keep playing, while the satisfying evolution from an almost empty island into a small machine of chained effects is particularly compelling. However, slow structure unlocks, limited map variety, and some unclear mechanics keep the game from reaching the full potential of its premise. Even so, I enjoyed Combolands considerably, and with more polish and variety, it could turn a very good idea into something truly impressive.

Resonance: A Plague Tale LegacyAug 26, 2026 · Alexandre Galvão

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy successfully fulfills the mission of expanding the franchise's universe without feeling like an expendable chapter. By swapping the Rune siblings for Sophia, Asobo Studio takes a risk with a new protagonist and a more overt approach to combat, yet retains what has always defined the series: a rich narrative, well-crafted characters, and impeccable art direction.

Hell Let Loose: VietnamAug 25, 2026 · Matheus Oliveira

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam finds its greatest strength when all of its systems click, turning massive teamwork into an unpredictable and intensely immersive war experience. Driven by excellent map design and a terrifyingly atmospheric depiction of jungle combat, the game overcomes technical glitches, awkward console menus, and a steep learning curve to deliver a deeply rewarding multiplayer shooter.

Agefield High: Rock the SchoolAug 25, 2026 · Gustavo Souza

Ultimately, Agefield High: Rock the School falls far short of being the spiritual successor that Bully fans have been hoping for. Refugium Games manages to create a charming setting that pays tribute to classic 2000s teen movies, delivering good humor and a wide variety of mission ideas. However, the disastrous execution of its basic mechanics ruins any chance of fun. It is a title that tries to embrace too much, but fails at the fundamentals and ends up failing the course with flying colors.

    Aggelos 2Aug 25, 2026 · Victor Vitório

Once past its lackluster opening, Aggelos 2 delivers dynamic, engaging Metroidvania-style exploration, opting to provide paths where players can get lost and make their own discoveries rather than relying on clear directions. The concept of switching between two dimensions works well, defining an adventure that—even without a deeply developed narrative—makes the journey worthwhile.

    Helix: Descent N AscentAug 21, 2026 · Johnnie Brian

Helix: Descent N Ascent is a striking monochromatic puzzle adventure driven by a brilliant "show, don't tell" philosophy. Its synergistic mechanics and creative homages reward player intuition over traditional tutorials. Despite potential pacing fatigue, the generous post-game content delivers a satisfying experience.

Fulfilling its role as a DLC by expanding upon the qualities of the base game, DOOM: The Dark Ages - Revelations is practically a must-have. The added story complements the campaign very well, as does the debut of the Spear enhances the gameplay. Its combat and movement capabilities allow you to tackle the missions and other challenges, all of which are radical and intense. Now we await the next iteration of this classic FPS franchise that has reinvented itself for modern times since 2016.

    DuskfadeAug 19, 2026 · Thiago da Silva

DuskFade is much more than a platformer that pays homage to great titles of the past; it delivers a solid story with compelling characters, excellent exploration and art direction, and great 3D platforming moments.Even though the combat could use some extra polish and the game lacks certain quality-of-life improvements—such as an easier way to track collectible progress in each region—the experience remains unique.

    Twisted TowerAug 18, 2026

Ultimately, Twisted Tower effectively blends a theme park setting with horror, delivering memorable moments thanks to its well-crafted atmosphere, soundtrack, voice acting, and tight arena combat filled with enemies. Despite its great ideas, the game eventually becomes repetitive and inconsistent in its direction, leaning heavily into a full-on action title due to its wide array of combat and exploration elements. Regardless, it remains an extremely fun and immersive experience that will certainly appeal to players missing games in the style of Bioshock.
