“The game is fine, I enjoyed playing most of it. For someone wanting more of Doom 2016, this is not it. There are a lot of design decisions that I don’t agree with, and there are objectively bad decisions that I don’t actually mind all that much. It’s a mixed bag of a game, and whether the changes are good or bad are mostly up to your personal preferences. I have never rated a game on this channel, but if I were going to do so, I would give it a 7 out of 10. I don’t feel very strongly about it at all.”

“Sprint Vector is one of the best racing experiences in VR. It allows you to take a first-person perspective while skating through tracks, grabbing powerups and boosts, and attacking your opponents. You can climb, jump, and speed through multiple tracks if you can master the tutorials and learn how to play. It is more satisfying than most car-driven VR games like Driveclub or GT Sport, so it might satisfy headset owners until we get a real racing game.”

“You'll notice not a lot of this is combat... DOOM VFR was one of the first AAA VR titles announced, we've been looking forward to it for some time, and it isn't what we expect. There's mini-games, extended dialogue sections, slow movement, and extended periods of waiting. Not DOOM-esque at all.”
