How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is an ambitious RPG that manages to step out of The Witcher 3’s shadow thanks to its clever use of time, meaningful choices, and the duality between human and vampire. On PS5, Quality Mode delivers impressive visuals while maintaining a solid 30 FPS, backed by excellent audio and a narrative structure where choices and their consequences genuinely matter.

With engaging extraction mechanics and a strong foundation, Mistfall Hunter shows plenty of potential, but server problems, performance issues and an uneven presentation hold it back from becoming the memorable experience it aims to be.

DragonSword: Awakening combines satisfying exploration, engaging team-based combat and solid PC performance, but an overcomplicated interface, slow opening hours and lingering mobile design elements keep it from becoming one of the genre's standouts.

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is a refreshing co-op horror experience that stands out thanks to its clever insanity mechanics and oppressive Lovecraftian atmosphere. While its story and a few rough edges hold it back, it's an easy recommendation for groups looking for tense, memorable multiplayer sessions.

    MarathonJun 15, 2026

Marathon is a tense and demanding extraction shooter where Bungie’s excellent gunplay and strong sci-fi identity shine, especially on PS5. Its harsh progression and steep learning curve make it difficult to recommend to everyone, but Season 2 adds meaningful improvements, new content and better onboarding that push the game in the right direction.

Crimson Desert is an ambitious open-world RPG that successfully blends fast-paced combat, deep gameplay systems, and a vast, living world into one cohesive experience. Despite a sometimes confusing narrative and a few frustrating encounters, its depth, technical performance, and sheer amount of content make it one of the most impressive releases of the year, and a strong contender for Game of the Year.
