How this trust score was computed
This reviewer publishes verdicts, not numbers, so trust comes from their recommend/pan calls: call accuracy (50%): when they say buy, do players end up satisfied, and when they say skip, do players agree; alignment (25%): do their recommendations sort games the way players do; and player-side (25%): on games where press and players sharply disagreed, whose side were they on. The blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small histories can't peg the scale, and recent verdicts weigh more (2-year half-life).
Controversy record: on 2 games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, this reviewer sided with players 2 times.

“Days Gone might be getting some questionable flack, but this game isn’t a 3/10 or a 5/10 game by far. No, it’s better than that and even if you’re not sure about picking it up cheap, you will for sure wonder what all the negative fuss was about.”

“Capcom might just have outdone themselves with "Devil May Cry 5", because DMC5 is with no doubt one of the best action games that I've ever played.”

“I take my hat off for Tamsoft's "Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal", because it's a very fun and sexy third-person slash-em-up. However, the game is far from flawless, and this is the reason why.”

“It's been a very long wait for Square Enix "Kingdom Hearts 3", but the game is now finally here! And I'll have you know that KH III is a wonderful but complicated action/RPG gem, and this is the reason why.”

“"Unbox" is a majorly brilliant game with minor flaws that left me feeling anything but cardbored. So if you're into 90s-like 3D platformers, then you should give "Unbox: Newbie's Adventure" a go for sure.”

“NAIRI: Tower of Shirin is mostly a nice adventure/visual novel game, but with a bit of an identity crisis and some really annoying problems. NAIRI would probably have worked out much better just as a visual novel, but is worth getting if you have lots of patience – and it’s on sale.”

“If you like point and click adventures (and have the patience to work through some of the more tedious puzzles), then you will certainly enjoy “Tsioque” with no doubt. As the lovely animation certainly gives “Broken Sword” a run for it’s money and the story is well developed, dark and funny. Simply put, “Tsioque” is certainly worth getting in a sale.”

“Iris.Fall was a memorable puzzlye/adventure experience, but not one I will likely to replay again anytime soon. You see, the game’s puzzles can only be solved once…And its simple but spooky story is easily remembered.”

“Gal Gun: Double Peace is a pretty pervy rail-shooter that is also pricey. Even so, as the game offers great graphics, tons of cute girls, lewd content and a touching and funny story (not to mention the fact that the game is also fun to play). You will soon forget about the price part.”

“Project Warlock”is a fun FPS shooter, harking back to the early days of pseudo 3D shooters. With varied enemies and many weapons, as it’s great fun mowing things down.”

“I don’t doubt for a second that RPG fans will be happy with “Crosscode”. Especially if the said fans also just happen to like puzzles. However, for everyone else though, it will be a gamble at the price.”

“All in all, “2064: Read only memories integral” isn’t as much of a game that comes to mind when we think about games. What it is instead a well-done interactive mystery novel.”
