How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

    Assetto CorsaNov 9, 2016

Assetto Corsa is an excellent race driving simulation which needs better multiplayer modes. [Oct 2016]

    NBA 2K17Nov 9, 2016

2K Sports has set the bar extremely high for sports video games, but they deliver once again. NBA 2K17 captures the essence of basketball. [Nov 2016]

    Forza Horizon 3Nov 9, 2016

Forza Horizon 3 is an excellent arcade racer with interesting environments and a competent car lineup. Multiplayer needs races for slower cars. [Nov 2016]

    Gears of War 4Nov 9, 2016

The ship has a new captain, but Gears of War is still about guts, glory and camaraderie. Buckle up, grab your Lancer and go kick some Swarm buttocks. [Nov 2016]

Insanely stylish and full of intriguing gameplay ideas. Shame there's really no levels that would bring all of these ideas together! Still worth picking up, but could've been more. [Oct 2016]

    ObductionNov 9, 2016

An otherwise excellent successor to the Myst series that is somewhat marred by the frequency of long loading times and some less stellar puzzle design, like the annoying rotating maze. [Oct 2016]

A very ambitious mix of hacking, adventuring and an open world sandbox. The game feels somewhat clumsy to play and the objectives can get needlessly obscure, but there's nothing quite like it. [Oct 2016]

A minimalistic tale of the world ending is executed beautifully in The Final Station. It's an atmospheric, yet demanding action-adventure, a little big game in the true meaning of the definition. [Oct 2016]

    OvercookedNov 9, 2016

Overcooked is a tasty snack to enjoy between AAA games. It’s often a frustratingly difficult party game, but never a boring one. [Oct 2016]

    The Turing TestNov 9, 2016

An enjoyable, polished first person puzzler in the vein of Portal and The Talos Principle. Shame it doesn't really have an identity of its own. [Oct 2016]

Time travel trilogy closes its last loops and leaves us wanting more. In a surprising move, visual novel style gives way for a more western The Walking Dead aesthetics. You should definitely be playing this game but remember, once you start, there is no escape. [Sept 2016]

A competent take on MotoGP-series. The Rossi-themed new events are fun. Audiovisual aspects are a bit bland and the multiplayer is already pretty much dead at this point. [Sept 2016]

Traveller's Tales FINALLY evolves their product over the critical point. The last few installations to Lego franchise have been disappointments, but Star Wars proves, that the studio hasn't lost their touch. The dull fighting mechanics are improved, level design is solid and the source material is adapted beautifully to Danish plastic. Hopefully TT Games will stay on this curve. [Sept 2016]

This Is Police is a highly entertaining and unique game. [Sept 2016]

    DownwellSep 28, 2016

Procedurally-generated levels are the new zombies. The design does not work beyond mobile gaming. [Aug 2016]
