Star Wars: Zero Company is an excellent addition to the saga that isn't scared of taking risks, and joins Andor and Rogue One in the pantheon of tales about high-risk covert operations, living up to the reputation of its peers. Occasional balancing and interface issues only keep a great game from being perfect, but when the blasters start singing, it all comes together.”

This is the culmination of lessons and experience picked up in the previous three titles that have consistently set the bar not just for World War I shooters but large-scale warfare games as a whole. Gallipoli stands taller than the ancient ruins and towering hills it depicts, and is a strong contestant for best FPS of the year so far.”

“All in all, it's more than evident that Thomas Brush and his team did their homework and spent their five years of development on this game very wisely. The world of Twisted Tower is impressively vast, with so much to explore from one playthrough to the next. Its thematic and narrative depth is commendable too, though it could have pushed the envelope just a bit further on that front. With few bugs or hiccups to even think of, it's an all-around polished and genuine love letter to the dramatic narrative of BioShock, with plenty of thrilling combat to keep players busy and entertained, just as Mr. Twister would intend.”

There are certainly areas where its simplicity may not resonate with everyone, particularly with its straightforward combat and occasionally childish writing, but I never felt like those things took away from what Weird Beluga set out to accomplish. If anything, they made Duskfade feel sincerer. It's a game that wears its inspirations proudly while still having enough personality to stand on its own. After spending so much of my life playing games, it's always nice when something comes along that makes me feel like a kid again, wandering around a colorful world and seeing what might be hiding around the next corner.”
