How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a good game, but fails at living up to the expectations set by its predecessor The Stick of Truth. Unfortunately, the gameplay was padded so much with filler that it killed the pacing. In Ubisoft's desire to make a Triple-A blockbuster, they instead weakened something that could've been a Double-A masterpiece.

Ori and the Blind ForestJan 11, 2018 · Cascassus

Moon Games Studios' debut title Ori and the Blind Forest is a very promising one.The challenging Metroidvania gameplay is well-accompanied by a beautiful hand-drawn world and rousing soundtrack that really immerse you into the game world.

    Human Fall FlatDec 22, 2017 · Kaisernik

The port of Human Fall Flat to the Nintendo Switch is ok but far from great. The game is definitely a worthwhile play if you like phyics-based puzzles, but maybe pick it up on a light discount.

    Never Stop Sneakin'Dec 13, 2017 · Kaisernik

While the base gameplay of the title is solid and great, the lack of variety really hurts it. This is especially upsetting as the game is highly polished in virtually every single aspect. With a few improvements, the game could really be something very unique and special. Since the base gameplay is solid, you might find to enjoy it if you play it for shorter section. Are you entertained by goofy humour and are looking for something low-stress to play inbetween sessions? You might find this title to be quite interesting.

    SteamWorld Dig 2Oct 3, 2017 · Kaisernik

SteamWorld Dig 2 has absolutely fantastic gameplay that builds on well onto the already strong gameplay of the original. Unless you dislike platformers, you should put this game onto your radar.

    Sonic ManiaAug 20, 2017 · Kaisernik

Sonic Mania does a lot of things right but also gets quite a bit of stuff wrong, stemming mostly from its gameplay being designed over 20 years. Still, we can recommend it to anyone who enjoys a more casual platformer.

Shovel Knight: Specter of TormentAug 11, 2017 · Cascassus

True to its promises, Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment strives to deliver a Jump'n'Run experience that truly lives up to the base game. While keeping the core elements intact, some simple, but meaningful changes to gameplay and atmosphere allow it to stand off at its own entity.

    Enter the GungeonJul 18, 2017 · Cascassus

Enter the Gungeon is a very solid Bullet Hell-Roguelite. While it does relatively little new things in terms of gameplay, it combines traditional features in a fresh matter and underlines them with its own unique and quirky charm.
