How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

After a 20-year wait, Onimusha returns in spectacular fashion. Way of the Sword delivers a fantastic combat system, stunning visuals, and a compelling story that welcomes both veterans and newcomers, making it easily one of the best action games of the year.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is a visually stunning and ambitious prequel that successfully shifts the series' focus to a new protagonist and an intriguing dual-timeline narrative. However, it struggles to execute its bold new ideas and is ultimately weighed down by shallow, repetitive combat, clunky animations, and severe pacing issues. While hardcore fans will find things to appreciate, it fails to reach the high standards set by its predecessors.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is a fantastic fighting game by one of the genres greatest developers, with that said, it's network state is far from great, and while Arc Sys worked hard on the PC port itself, the netcode still requires some fixing.

Built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, Halo: Campaign Evolved is a masterful remake of a console-defining classic. Despite some underwhelming prequel missions, its modernized gunplay, gorgeous graphics, and robust 4-player co-op make it a must-play experience on modern platforms.

    Splatoon RaidersAug 3, 2026

Splatoon Raiders is a great addition to the Splatoon brand, with the transition from competitive multiplayer to a primarily single-player game being done very well. The gameplay is great, and the abilities and upgrades you unlock in Splatoon Raiders are a fantastic addition to the Splatoon franchise. This title serves as an excellent entry point for new Splatoon players, while also offering seasoned fans an opportunity to expand their experience with the brand.

Rhythm Heaven Groove is a very likable rhythm game that doesn't necessarily try to reinvent the wheel, and that's a good thing - the great amount of content, the colorful graphics and sound style, and the overall experience it will provide you are good, even if on the way there you will sometimes encounter obstacles like the game's inability to handle wireless headphones and different models of televisions.

    Star FoxJul 9, 2026

Star Fox is a very cute game and a kind of love letter to die-hard fans of the brand who can now enjoy it on a modern gaming platform, but at the same time, it feels very dated compared to newer games, which greatly detracts from the overall experience, sometimes in a way that directly affects my ability to recommend it.

    Gothic 1 RemakeJun 24, 2026

Gothic 1 Remake is a rough yet refreshing return to an older style of role playing game. Dated quest design, awkward combat and a frustrating economy hold it back, while its hostile world, meaningful exploration and refusal to guide the player make the Colony feel genuinely dangerous. Few modern RPGs are willing to make the player feel this small, and that courage makes the journey worth taking.

    Mina the HollowerJun 21, 2026

Mina The Hollower provides a great experience - it's fun, it's excellently designed most of the time, and it's very rewarding in terms of the combat system and the exploration experience, but each of these truly good elements also has a negative point, whether it's the level of difficulty and the reliance on Soulslike systems that sometimes feel simply unrelated to this game, or if we're looking directly at the design of some of the game's areas.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book isn't a game aimed at an adult audience, but I'm not sure it's aimed at a younger audience either. Let's hope that next time, if there is one, the beloved dinosaur gets the respect it deserves.

If you don't mind some of the issues in this game, text and voice reading inconsistencies, you might just run into one of the best rpg systems in modern rpg games with an interesting espionage story.

    SAROSApr 24, 2026

Saros is a worthy and very respectable spiritual sequel to Returnal, and even though it may feel too easy at times or tiresome in terms of its main plot, as a whole it is simply an excellent, fun and addictive Roguelite action game, in the best sense of the term.

This game is full of quality, style, and screams "fun" at almost any given moment, and even though it's not exactly groundbreaking in terms of the systems it's built from, the execution of each of the elements that make up this great game is simply unusually impressive in its quality, making this game a hot recommendation for fans of the genre, and not only.
