How this trust score was computed
Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

- 90Pokemon Pokopia: Bubbly BasinAug 11, 2026
“Bubbly Basin is a rather pleasant surprise. Sure, it follows the established formula and doesn’t stray too far from it, but it’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this underwater adventure feel like a natural extension of Pokopia. From the calming exploration and gorgeous environments to the new Pokémon, crafting opportunities and the remnants of Curellian City, there’s plenty here to keep you coming back for more.”

“Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is cheaper than many other AAA titles and delivers plenty of bang for your buck. Even rushing through the main story will keep you entertained for around 30 to 40 hours, while completionists exploring every corner of Midgar could easily double that time. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is simply phenomenal. It tells a story with incredible visual flair, fully voiced dialogue, and a level of depth that wasn’t possible when the original game was first released. This isn’t a quick cash-in aimed at gamers’ nostalgia. It’s a lovingly crafted legacy, designed to remind fans why they fell in love with this world while respecting the source material and expanding on everything that made it great. While I wish more remakes took this approach, the truth is that Remake Intergrade’s execution is one of a kind, and that’s what makes it so special.”

“Deadzone: Rogue offers a strong level of replayability for anyone who enjoys roguelites. You could, in theory, clear the campaign in four to six hours once you know what you are doing, but getting there takes time, learning, and plenty of failed runs along the way. The shooting mechanics are tight, the gameplay is fun, and while it does not make the strongest first impression, the systems and progression have a way of slowly sinking their teeth into you. What starts off feeling familiar gradually turns into something that is hard to put down. Deadzone: Rogue is a strong addition to the roguelite shooter space and well worth your attention.”

“Pokémon Pokopia took a huge risk with a beloved franchise, and it’s one that has absolutely paid off. Koei Tecmo and Nintendo have come together to create a wonderful world to get lost in, and it’s clear that the source material, much like raising a Pokémon, has been handled with loving care. Even after finishing the main questline at around 40 hours, I’ve already put at least half that back into the game, just tidying up areas and building new habitats to attract Pokémon. While my favourite Pokémon, Blastoise, still eludes me, Pokopia is one Switch 2 title you absolutely have to catch.”

“Easy Delivery Co on Nintendo Switch is a very fun, albeit short, adventure that is perfect for spending a night or two with. Its fun physics, surprising narrative, and core gameplay loop kept me hooked right up until the abrupt end. There is still the option to make deliveries and bank some money after the credits roll, but there is not much incentive to do so. That said, Easy Delivery Co was still such a wonderful and charming experience that I am glad I chose to buy it over Saturday evening takeout.”

“Tomodachi Life provides plenty of value if you’re looking for a game to enjoy in short sessions while gradually building up a bustling paradise. There’s plenty to do, from building relationships and developing your island to unlocking items and granting wishes. It’s a game full of laughs, and I think that’s something I really needed right now. It’s a reminder that sometimes life can be silly, fun, and a little random. Tomodachi Life is a zany, wacky, and hilarious life sim that won’t be for everyone, but for players who enjoy a bit of randomised chaos, Tomodachi Life on Nintendo Switch delivers plenty of absolutely bonkers joy.”

“Sektori offers excellent value for money thanks to its strong replayability and variety of modes. Its addictive “one more run” approach to gameplay means you will accidentally lose hours chasing a higher score, climbing the leaderboards, or experimenting with new upgrade combinations, while the thumping techno soundtrack perfectly complements the chaotic visuals and fast-paced action. For me, Sektori was a wonderful surprise that took me back to the days of booting up Geometry Wars at the start of a Project Gotham Racing session, and even after countless failed runs, I still found myself diving straight back in for more. If you’re looking for a stylish twin-stick shooter with fantastic replay value and an incredible soundtrack, Sektori is absolutely worth turning the volume up for.”

“The stylish cinematic flair, the graded combat system, and the varied gameplay that comes through from the different characters rarely give you a moment to be bored. It does a great job of introducing newcomers to the series while embracing series veterans with its customisable approach to play. On Switch 2, Devil May Cry 5 is a near-perfect port, offering outstanding performance that matches the incredibly fast-paced nature of the series.”

“Moonlight Peaks is a wonderful surprise. It takes inspiration from many of the games that came before it, but builds on those ideas with clever quality of life improvements, a charming supernatural setting, and an addictive card game that could almost stand on its own. Whether I was tending crops, expanding my card collection, decorating my home, or exploring another corner of the map, there was always something drawing me back for just one more day. If you’ve been searching for your next cozy obsession, Moonlight Peaks deserves a place near the top of your wishlist. It may be filled with vampires, witches and werewolves, but this is one cozy adventure you’ll be happy to invite into your home.”

“For the first time in a long time, I felt nothing but pure joy from beginning to end. Star Fox may be a 1:1 remake in terms of its level design, but its phenomenal visuals, expanded story sequences and remarkable ability to recapture the magic of the original make it a truly wonderful achievement. More than anything, I hope this is the beginning of a new era for this outstanding franchise.”

“For me, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book was a game that improved the moment I stopped trying to rush from A to B. After a bumpy start where I wasn’t really enjoying myself, I finally let go of my expectations and started spending time simply playing, experimenting, and making discoveries. Sure, this isn’t the big AAA platformer that some players may have been expecting, but for those who don’t mind a slower pace and lower stakes, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a reminder that games can simply be about curiosity and discovery. Combined with its charming presentation and unique approach to progression, that makes for an adventure that’s well worth turning the page for.”

“The inclusion of Beyond the Dawn also gives players the rare opportunity to see what happens after the main story concludes. While it doesn’t dramatically expand the gameplay formula, it provides a worthwhile epilogue and a chance to spend more time with a cast that becomes increasingly likable as the adventure unfolds. Few RPGs manage to balance spectacle, heart, and character growth quite like Tales of Arise. It’s a journey well worth taking, and a tale that deserves to be told on Switch 2.”

“eFootball Kick Off offers outstanding value for money, especially if you haven’t played a football game before or, like me, have been a benchwarmer since the N64 days. Its intuitive controls, absence of predatory monetisation, and overall level of polish make this, in my humble opinion, a fantastic game for football fans and newcomers alike. Sure, customisation options for your own team are limited, but the moment the whistle blows you’ll be too busy passing, tackling, and shooting your way to glory to care. I came into eFootball Kick Off expecting a pleasant trip down memory lane. Instead, I found myself wondering where the last three hours went. For a game about a sport I barely follow, that’s probably the highest praise I can give.”

“Rhythm Paradise Groove offers excellent value for completionists and perfectionists alike. There are dozens of inventive mini games to master, plenty that I still haven’t perfected, and I can easily see the multiplayer alone providing hours of laughs with friends and family. For me, I finally understand the fans on social media. Rhythm Paradise Groove is a wonderful experience that thrives on rapid-fire gameplay, hilarious absurdity, and a soundtrack that will happily lodge itself in your brain for days. What initially looked like a simple rhythm game quickly revealed itself to be one of Nintendo’s most charming and addictive experiences. Rhythm Paradise Groove is an absolute gem and, much like our girl Stella, it helped me get my groove back.”
