The combat is challenging but flexible, while the time system and the differences between day and night add welcome depth. Some issues with controls, camera work and technical polish remain, but they rarely overshadow the overall experience. In short, Blood of Dawnwalker is one of the first major RPG highlights of the second half of 2026.”

“Asobo Studio succeeds in creating a truly excellent spin-off sequel with Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. While the story didn't quite captivate us as much as Amicia's tale the connection to Greek mythology and the likable heroine kept us engaged right to the end. In terms of gameplay, however, we actually prefer Resonance. The impactful, fast-paced combat is just as enjoyable as the overall well-crafted puzzles, and the platforming elements, particularly during the dramatic escape sequences, are a welcome addition. All in all, we feel Asobo has maintained the high standards of the previous titles while even making slight technical improvements. If you enjoyed the earlier games and don't mind the significantly increased focus on direct action, you can certainly pick this one up with confidence. ”

“"Duskfade" absolutely lives up to the high expectations. Exploring the world is a joy, unlocking the story of Zirian's family—her grandfather, sister, and the cloud beings—piece by piece, and getting emotionally swept away. The combat sections between bosses can sometimes feel a bit repetitive, but unlocking new abilities adds enough variety to make it bearable. The boss fights are phenomenal, and I wish I could replay them outside of the story. Maybe even on a higher difficulty level, because they're genuinely fun! Anyone who enjoys 3D action-platformers should definitely give "Duskfade" a try!”

“"Lou's Lagoon" doesn't offer a great deal of depth, but it doesn't need to. Technically, however, the presentation is rather lackluster, mainly due to the often low frame rate. Ultimately, though, it's fun and delivers a pleasant experience, which is definitely worth more than the technical issues.”

“Compared to significantly higher-budget survival horror games like "Resident Evil Requiem" or the remake of "Dead Space," "The Sinking City 2" may not quite reach the heights of the genre's giants, at least technically and in terms of sheer perfection. “"Mortal Shell II" is an incredibly good game – both on its own and as a sequel to the original. The gameplay is consistently fun, and even though there aren't as many weapons or character customization options, it offers plenty of variety from beginning to end. The battles, especially against the many unique bosses, are another highlight. "Mortal Shell II" doesn't bring much that's innovative or completely new to the genre. But because it gets so much right as a whole, we can't help but wholeheartedly recommend it.”

“Mortal Shell II is just a really, really good game. It is not only better than Mortal Shell but can easily stand on its own. The gameplay feels crisp, the exploration is rewarding and even if it doesn’t offer as much variety when it comes to weapons or armors like comparable games, it doesn’t really matter. The world it is set in is exciting and especially fighting against the many bosses or exploring its dungeons is just pure joy. It might not innovate much but damn if it isn’t just incredibly fun.”
