“What the Golf? could be a misleading title...or maybe not - it does not suggest a serious golf simulation after all. This hilarious and creative game takes an entirely different approach to the sport of golf, to the point of throwing away nearly everything about the sport and turning it into an addictive game that is simple and can also get absolutely infernal at times. A game that deserves an enthusiastic welcoming to the Nintendo Switch catalogue.”

“Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories took a long time to reach us - more than nine years, to be exact. That said, it's undeniable that this game features interesting characters, a degree of freedom that's worth the praise and multiple endings that will get players to return to it over and over again. Unfortunately its technical execution is very far from ideal and the heavy, clunky and unstable way it runs will definitely put many players off, which is a shame because Disaster Report 4 gets a lot of things right.”

“Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling was made as a tribute to the Paper Mario series and in an attempt to recapture the spirit of the first game of the series. While Bug Fables does not succeed in this purpose, it does deliver a good game, with an addictive combat, well structured plot (and a lot of dialogues), as well as game world that's a marvel to look at. So while the more spiritual goal to pay tribute to Nintendo's series went off the mark, the secondary objectives to make a good game are undoubtedly successful.”

“Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is something unusual, in the sense that it had a goal that it did not fulfill, but ends up doing a success on everything else. So while Big Fables is not a fitting tribute to Paper Mario, it still does almost everything right, especially when it comes to its plot, its combat system and the absolutely marvelous visual world. All in all, something that won't look bad in anyone's Nintendo Switch.”

“Liberated on the Nintendo Switch assumes the form of an interactive comic book that uses a noir aesthetic and a very dystopian plot to put the player in the middle of a sombre, disquieting and genuinely frightening experience. Its technical issues and quick time events are the game's Achilles' Heel but the plot, visual outlook and accessibility, which even allows the player to treat it as if it was purely a comic book, make this a very interesting choice for Nintendo Switch owners.”

“Indivisible is what happens when a Metroidvania type of game is given RPG elements and it's a successful case at that. Thanks to its marvelous looking and sounding world, exploration mechanics and combat that help make up for the plot's poor pacing and fun humor, Indivisible is a worthy game to spend many hours with.”

“Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy brings back a game of a previous time and in its attempt to recreate the original experience, this conversion goes one step too far - or rather, not far enough. While the online multiplayer is a welcome feature, there's too many elements here that were simply not put up to date with today's standards, and the inadequate controls that were made for a format different than that of the Nintendo Switch further contribute to make this an experience that will hardly convince a lot of players.”

“TT Isle of Man: Ride On The Edge 2 improves on some aspects of its predecessor and makes the experience more accessible to new players. Unfortunately it doesn't keep a consistent record on its improvements and due to a rather poor visual performance (in contrast with its slick audio component) lack of variety on racing tracks and rewards that don't provide much in terms of motivation, this sequel doesn't represent a significant improvement over the original.”

“Mary Skelter 2 is a dungeon crawling RPG with a somber and engaging plot that will make the players explore harrowing locations and have them face an onslaught of elements in a combat system that is quick and demanding. The game features a ton of mechanics and gameplay elements and on top of that, it even brings its predecessor for free. Nintendo Switch owners who are fans of dungeon crawling RPGs have plenty to look forward here.”
