How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth - Complete Edition has a ton of content for players, if they can make it through some weird pacing issues. Both titles have darker, more mature storylines, even when looking at the cutesy Digimon.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a brilliant direction for the young series, effortlessly mixing classic, 2-D platforming with an adventure style overworld without one negatively affecting the other.

    IndivisibleOct 11, 2019 · Christopher Joslin

Just like in nature, where the platypus, Indivisible is a hodgepodge of ideas that somehow creates the best experience I have had in an indie game all year and is a contender for my game of the year.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game RemasteredOct 8, 2019 · Blair Farrell

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is a gift in a lot of respects as you don't see licensed games like this make a comeback, and at a budget price no less.

Trine 4: The Nightmare PrinceOct 7, 2019 · Christopher Joslin

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a great follow up in the series and definitely makes up for the failings of Trine 3.

    The Surge 2Sep 30, 2019 · Drew Meadows

Aside from borrowing heavily from its inspirations, The Surge 2 is a great action-RPG that has enough going for it to set it apart from what came before it.

    GreedFallSep 23, 2019 · Drew Meadows

GreedFall, the new Action-RPG from French studio Spiders, is overly ambitious for its own good, getting bogged down with bugs and poorly implemented ideas.

    SagebrushSep 19, 2019 · Elise Nelson

It's clear Redact Games put as much of their focus and resources as possible on Sagebrush's plot, but it worked out beautifully in their favor.
