How this trust score was computed
Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.
Controversy record: on 1 game where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, this reviewer sided with players 0 times.

- 100God of War RagnarökNov 3, 2022
“God of War Ragnarok is a must-play. There are no two ways about it. It is one of the best games out there. So I hope for your sake you don’t get spoiled and enjoy the game for the first time like a lot of us reviewers did and the way the devs wanted you to experience it.”

“Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on the PS5 is THE best way to experience this game. Iki Island offers roughly 8-10 hours of content for you to explore and is perfect for those who wanted more Tsushima. However, if you were lukewarm on the base game, then I feel you might not find what you’re looking for here because it’s more of the same. That isn’t a bad thing because that is exactly what I wanted after I originally beat the game. There’s more to explore, more Mythic Tales to uncover, more gorgeous vistas to gaze upon, and most importantly, more foxes to pet AND give belly rubs to.”

“In those halcyon days for Valve, there was no way of knowing that Half-Life fans would have to wait more than a decade for a new entry in the hallowed franchise.
