How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is an epic end to an amazing trilogy. A greater focus on combat switches up the formula and is executed brilliantly. This is a highlight of 2026 for me so far.

    Ground Zero HeroAug 22, 2026

Ground Zero Hero is a colourful, chaotic time-sink that respects both short sessions and longer binges. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does enough new to pull in fans of the genre.

    Thick As ThievesMay 26, 2026

Thick As Thieves is a solid, low-stakes stealth romp that knows its limits and mostly sticks to them. It won’t revolutionise the genre, but it delivers satisfying sneaking, fun gadgets, and that glorious dopamine hit of a pocket full of stolen goods. The amount of content at launch may be an issue for some, and I do hope we get updates at a decent clip, but for a game that tasks you with stealing, it's ironic that the price tag of a fiver feels like you are stealing from the developers. If you’ve got a friend to team up with, it becomes even more enjoyable, turning potential frustration into shared laughter when your carefully planned heist devolves into chaos.

Under Par Golf Architect succeeds as a relaxing, creative escape for anyone who ever dreamed of designing their own links. It captures the quiet satisfaction of watching a club grow from humble beginnings into a thriving destination, and the ability to play what you build is a cool addition. If you’ve been waiting for the return of SimGolf, this is worth checking out. Just don’t expect it to eagle every hole.

Mouse: P.I For Hire blends kinetic gameplay with stunning rubber-hose visuals and furnishes it in a noir detective story. There was a lot of hype going into this one and Fumi Games have absolutely knocked it out of the park.

    HozyApr 13, 2026

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Hozy. It is graphically stunning and manages to make mundane tasks like cleaning the area, washing the floor and painting the walls fun. If you are a fan of interior designing but don’t want to get your hands dirty and obliterate your wallet, this is an easy recommendation.
