How this trust score was computed
Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.
Controversy record: on 7 games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, this reviewer sided with players 4 times.

Outlet vs. players
Each dot is a game both this outlet and players scored. The dashed line is perfect agreement: dots above it mean the outlet was more generous than players, below it more harsh.

- 90Mina the HollowerJun 21, 2026 · Richard Heaton
“The game is a fun, retro-styled romp. The soundtrack is great, and the Gameboy style graphics pull its weight perfectly. If I hadn’t died so many times, I’d probably have beaten the game in under 15 hours and be less angry. But overall, I had a blast. Mina The Hollower is a really solid pickup, especially for only $20. Definitely worth picking up.”

“If you love Vampire Survivors, you’ll understand all the references in the game and maybe you’ll want to try it out. The gameplay will be a bit hard to learn at first if you haven’t played similar games, but you’ll get the hang of it quickly. If you love games like Slay The Spire, you’ll love Vampire Crawlers even if you never played Vampire Survivors.”

“At first, the game was slow and rather boring. But after I got past the first three days and got a real grasp on what I was doing, I started having lots of fun. Kabuto Park is a very chill and relaxing title that many players will enjoy.”

“LEGO games are usually lots of fun to begin with, but this one is elevated by being a fantastic tribute to decades of Batman. If you’re a fan of Batman, you’re really going to love the storylines, costumes, and references.”

“One run might only take you about twenty or so minutes, but you’re going to keep playing over and over so you can watch the rewards pile up. Rune Dice is such a fun game. Even if you only do a few runs, you’ll have a blast.”

“Is Calamity Angels: Special Delivery worth picking up? You might find the gameplay to be way too easy at times, but the game has a lot of charm. For $30, it’s pretty good since you can get between 15 and 20 hours out of it. You might also enjoy it a lot more if you think of it as less of a regular game and more of an interactive anime.”

“PowerWash Simulator was already a great game at launch, and it was a great price. But it’s even better now. A sequel did come out last year, but it’s not available for the original Switch. If you want to scratch that itch with one of the most satisfying games ever, revisit the original PowerWash Simulator if you have a Switch.”

“It’s still nothing like the original Crazy Taxi, but it’s significantly better than the first Taxi Chaos. The story mode adds purpose and the world itself is better. While you’re sitting around hoping for an actual Crazy Taxi game, the Taxi Chaos sequel is a serviceable replacement. The price is a bit much though. It’s the same price as the original, but even with its improvements, I can’t really recommend paying more than $25.”

“Baladins has a lot of content, and it’s definitely going to appeal to fans of Tabletop RPG’s. It’s a fun game, has a good bit of humor, and looks great. $24.99 is a decent price because you can get anywhere between 10 and 15 hours out of the game if you’re doing everything it has to offer.”

“I don’t like cleaning IRL, but it’s so much fun in the game, and I was constantly going back to old levels to see how newly acquired tools were incorporated. It will take you about two hours to beat, but you won’t want to put it down until it’s all done. $15 is a solid price, and you’ll love it if you enjoy games like PowerWash Simulator.”

“Honestly, there isn’t much else to say. The controls are smooth, the gameplay itself is so much fun, and the different loot mechanics are satisfying. It’s the most fun I’ve had with a sidescroller in years. Fans of Prince of Persia will love the game, but everyone else should enjoy it too. It’s a bit pricy at $30, but it’s still a fun game.”

“Estrange Overlord is a fun and quirky title. The humor, story, and characters were interesting enough to keep me going.”

“The original Nordics is a great game, and the new stuff is amazing. The complete Proud package is phenomenal and if you haven’t played the original, the $70 complete package is a must buy. But if you already played Nordics, I would avoid this one. That’s a tough ask because fans of the series would have already played Nordics when it first released, but you must trust me on this one. If you played the original, wait for this one to go on sale or for a standalone DLC pack.”

“It’s pricy at $70, but it’s as good as many of the other turn-based RPG’s and monster catching games that came out recently.”
“While Seafrog is a very chill and cozy game, the mechanics could become a bit difficult for some people. I already mentioned how the controls can be a bit unforgiving, and boss battles might be a bit tough. People who love challenging games will enjoy this, but you’re also going to have a lot of fun skateboarding around the ship.”
