How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

Mortal Shell IIAug 17, 2026 · Lucas Moura

“Mortal Shell 2” is more than a great follow up, it is an exceptional example of how to make a sequel by taking into account the previous title shortcomings whilst also keeping its core identity intact, expanding in a multitude of ways, providing flexibility in builds, a fantastic world to explore and also being friendly to newcomers of the genre. A must have RPG / souls-like fans.

    Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus IIJun 11, 2026 · Lucas Moura

“Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus II” dares to change a formula that had seemed successful, and although there are moments of brilliance, it succumbs to the weight of its own ambition.

Mina the HollowerMay 28, 2026 · Lucas Moura

Mina the Hollower is one of those rare games that I didn’t expect much and ended up falling in love with. It’s funny, charming, challenging and incredible to play. It is Yacht Club’s masterpiece and by far one of the best games I played in 2026.

Cooking Simulator 2: Better TogetherApr 21, 2026 · Lucas Moura

“Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together” takes a new approach in terms of visuals, mechanics and management. And, while its customized recipe system is a leap in comparison to the original, everything else is pretty much a step back — from physics to interactions. It should’ve stayed longer in the oven.

    GRIME IIApr 13, 2026 · Lucas Moura

Although a bit too linear and safe for my taste, “Grime II” still delivers what Clover Bit does bet: fantastic boss fights, good combat and striking visuals — by far the most “unique” looking metroidvania of 2026 so far.

    ScreamerMar 23, 2026 · Lucas Moura

“Screamer” does not shy away on breaking expectations when it comes to what it is an “arcade racer”. In an industry filled with open world racing games, Milestone delivers a brutal yet satisfying racing experience. I just wished I could say the same about its narrative focused campaign.

    Demon TidesMar 19, 2026 · Lucas Moura

“Demon Tides” is more than a fantastic evolution of “Demon Turf”. It shows how platforming games can be both accessible for newcomers and still challenging to veterans by not gatekeeping its movement tools. Instead, it opts for an expression-based game, where you can leave your mark in the world. And, in return, it left its mark on me.

    DockedMar 13, 2026 · Lucas Moura

While I do still miss the more “sandbox” style of Saber Interactive Titles, “Docked” is at the very least a great step in the right direction with its more engrossing narrative and good simulation of cables and weight. I just wish the team went a bit beyond and added more variety of jobs and didn’t rely as much on menus.

    RIDE 6Mar 9, 2026 · Lucas Moura

Thanks to its more flexible career mode, much improved handling for those looking — and the addition of an arcade style for newcomers — “RIDE6” finally takes the crown of “RIDE 4” as the best motorcycle game on the market right now.

    Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark TiesMar 5, 2026 · Lucas Moura

“Yakuza Kiwami 3” boasts great presentation and much needed improvements over the original game combat system. Sadly, it does very little to improve the inconsistent narrative. If anything, it makes it worse in some areas. Is the worst remake I ever played? No, far from it, but I would rather play the original “Yakuza 3” — or at least its remastered version — rather than the remake.

DRAGON QUEST VII ReimaginedFeb 23, 2026 · Lucas Moura

Although a bit easier than I expected, “Dragon Quest VII Reimagined” it’s a great reinterpretation with some amazing quality of life additions of a PlayStation 1 classic, and a must play for JRPG and Dragon Quest fans

    CODE VEIN IIFeb 16, 2026

“Code Vein II” has a solid combat foundation, but its lackluster open world, bosses with inconsistent hitboxes and weak story drags it down severely. Much like its predecessor, it had a ton of potential, sadly, unrealized.

Quarantine Zone: The Last CheckJan 26, 2026 · Lucas Moura

Dripping with atmosphere, “Quarantine Zone: The Last Check” embraces both the monotonous and stressful aspects of working at checkpoint. It’s a game that asks you to take decisions that are way above your pay grade, and deal with the mental health consequences yourself.

    Cross BlitzDec 3, 2025 · Lucas Moura

Between a great campaign packed with funny moments, intuitive deck building system, and “roguelike” mode that is filled to the brim with boss fights and unique mechanics, “Cross Blitz” is one of the best deckbuilders of 2025.

    Anno 117: Pax RomanaNov 12, 2025 · Lucas Moura

“Anno 117” takes the best aspects about “Anno 1800” and polishes it to an unprecedented degree. Alongside a more in-depth second region and the addition of a research tree, deities, simple yet satisfying land battles and —of course— new productions chains, it’s a new gold standard for the franchise. I can see myself playing for years to come.
