“While the strategic element of Ledgerbound isn’t all that captivating, the humor and dating sim elements should help it find an audience. Especially since the voice acting is so strong. The jokes and even way in which the romantic elements are handled might not be for everyone. I also wish I could actually just… save instead of relying on autosaves. But it’s a novel take on a heroic quest and rather colorful. ”

“Big Walk gives us an excuse to gather together with friends, go on some walks, and solve some often great puzzles. It’s a great example of a developer gradually building on its ideas for more complex and challenging tasks that make you realize what you did before prepared you for this. (And sometimes, maybe it really does feel like basketball is the answer.) It’s a great excuse to sit back, work together, and talk things through in a pleasant world filled with colorful puzzles.”

“Splatoon Raiders builds upon the Salmon Run modes from Splatoon 2 and 3 in a clever way, resulting in a looter-shooter with varying objectives. It can 100% be played and enjoyed solo, but I had the most fun playing with others and suspect that will prove a highlight once folks get their bearings and start perfecting their weapon, tank, and gadget loadouts. However, I will note that because it is primarily focused on taking on Salmonid hordes with things like time limitations and egg requirements, it may not have the broader appeal of the mainline games’ campaigns.”

“The Switch 2 version of Star Fox feels designed to both be comfortable and offer a means to get people playing together. The standard and mouse control schemes both work well and are immediately accessible, which is a point in its favor over Star Fox Zero. The Campaign feels like there’s a bit more of a focus on showing the crew between missions, which allows for more characterization. The multiplayer options are pretty robust, and I’d love to see more maps for the Battle mode. This does feel like a robust take on the story, and I’d love to see the series move on to an entirely new title after this.”
