How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

    Big WalkAug 3, 2026 · Sonia Heng

House House has created something genuinely special with Big Walk. It’s funny, inventive, surprisingly relaxing, and constantly finds new ways to encourage genuine cooperation between friends. Whether you’re exploring with one mate or a full group of twelve, every session is filled with memorable moments. It’s one of the most enjoyable cooperative experiences I’ve played this year — and undoubtedly a walk to remember.

    Heave Ho 2Jul 17, 2026 · Sonia Heng

Heave Ho 2 is absolute chaos in the best possible way. Between the physics-based platforming, constant communication, and inevitable accidental betrayals, it’s the kind of game that creates memorable moments almost every few minutes.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag ResyncedJul 8, 2026 · Julian Price

While Resynced improves the presentation and performance, it doesn’t completely reinvent the experience. At its core, this is still a focused pirate adventure built around exploration, storytelling and the thrill of life on the open seas. There’s no endless gear grind or constant stream of RPG systems — just a great story, a memorable world and one of the best pirate fantasies in gaming. Whether you’re experiencing Edward Kenway’s journey for the first time or returning all these years later, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a great excuse to set sail again.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium TalesJun 17, 2026 · Daniel Anderson

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales took me back to a simpler time. A time when I would sit cross-legged in front of my Super Nintendo, controller in hand, ready to lose myself in a world filled with secrets, dungeons, and wonder. It captures that same childhood sense of curiosity, where every path begs to be explored and every new discovery feels exciting.

    4PGPJun 13, 2026 · Tim Holt

There’s no shortage of modern indie arcade racers chasing the ghosts of the genre’s ’90s golden era, each tapping into nostalgia in their own way. Few, however, commit to it as purely as 4PGP. 4PGP is unapologetically simple. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel or overwhelm with features — instead, it locks into a very specific vision and executes it cleanly. Even so, I feel it could’ve offered more.

    Forza Horizon 6May 14, 2026 · Tim Holt

Forza Horizon 6 isn’t perfect, and diehards still have a wishlist. But when you’re blasting through cherry blossoms, threading Tokyo’s expressways or just vibing along a mountain pass while the soundtrack does its thing, it’s very hard to imagine a better place to be behind the virtual wheel.

inKONBINI: One Store. Many StoriesMay 9, 2026 · Julian Price

If you’re looking for a true Japanese convenience store simulator, this isn’t quite it. But as a slower, more narrative-driven experience, inKONBINI still delivers an emotive and charming slice of small-town Japan — one that can be completed in six to ten hours, depending on how much of a perfectionist you are. inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories blends heartfelt storytelling with light convenience store sim mechanics, creating a cosy atmosphere that never quite reaches its full simulation potential.

    Wax HeadsMay 5, 2026 · Daniel Anderson

If you are a music fan who loves vinyl, Wax Heads is still worth a spin. Just be aware there are a few scratches on the record that stop it from playing perfectly.

Town of ZozMay 3, 2026 · Elena Ng

Despite many of its aspects being underbaked, Town of Zoz is a hearty action RPG with plenty of soul. Picky eaters may want to give this one a miss, but those who can stomach a few bugs and glitches will still find a treat here.

    Invincible VSApr 30, 2026 · Nathanael Peacock

I’m pleased to say, Invincible VS is great — fighting feels impactful (literally). The story is a bit short and doesn’t really break new ground, but if you’re here to beat up your friends on the couch, then this is a good time.

"Upon the announcement of Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors, I felt somewhat like the leaders were becoming the followers, that poncle might be jumping on the deck-building bandwagon after successes like Slay the Spire and Balatro. Having now rolled credits on Vampire Crawlers, my fears are abated. This new entry brings a fresh spin on a well-worn formula, perfectly recreating the sense of wonder I felt starting the original."

    PRAGMATAApr 16, 2026 · Shaun Fullard

Pragmata is a simple game with a simple story, wrapped up in a fantastic setting. The mixture of high-energy gunplay and real-time hacking felt like a truly unique twist on combat. It’s a shorter experience, around 10 to 15 hours, but what it does in that time is well worth the price of admission.

Resident Evil RequiemFeb 26, 2026 · Julian Price

This is the bloodiest, boldest, and most cohesive Resident Evil yet. Capcom has delivered a survival horror experience that respects its legacy while pushing the series forward.

DRAGON QUEST VII ReimaginedFeb 3, 2026 · Ben Veress

"I genuinely believe you couldn't ask for a better remake of a classic title, and can only hope Square Enix looks to the blueprint they've laid out here for other remakes in the future."

Perfect Tides: Station to StationJan 22, 2026 · Rose Jordan

Stepping into Perfect Tides: Station to Station felt like being a teenager again: angsty, emotionally heavy, and stuck in that strange limbo of a summer holiday where everything feels too big. Consuming a story about another angsty, emotionally heavy girl trying to navigate the world, I felt seen in a way I hadn’t since my teen years.
