How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

    Twisted TowerAug 18, 2026 · Ondřej Halíř

Twisted Tower is a fast, bloody and visually distinctive FPS that turns a warped 1950s amusement park into a surprisingly atmospheric shooting gallery. Creative weapons, bizarre enemies, satisfying gunplay and stronger-than-expected lore make the seven-to-eight-hour ride highly entertaining, although repetitive encounters, underused movement abilities and almost nonexistent puzzles prevent it from fully capitalizing on its twisted premise.

    The Sinking City 2Aug 17, 2026 · Ondřej Halíř

The Sinking City 2 is a confident modern survival horror that pairs a beautifully realized, rain-soaked Arkham with excellent atmosphere, responsive gunplay, accessible puzzles, and a surprisingly polished technical state. Enemy variety is limited and some encounters become frustratingly chaotic, especially without proper melee weapons, but Frogwares’ tighter and more focused approach makes this one of the studio’s strongest games to date.

This Bed We MadeAug 7, 2026 · Ondřej Halíř

Lost and Found is a charming, intimate return to Sophie, offering a warm standalone story, likeable characters, and a noticeable visual upgrade. Its simpler mystery and slightly repetitive gameplay keep it from matching the original’s complexity, but it remains an easy recommendation for fans.

The Mound: Omen of CthulhuAug 6, 2026 · Ondřej Halíř

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu has an appealing premise, strong visuals, and some initially entertaining hallucination mechanics, but its ideas quickly become repetitive. Weak combat, technical problems, frustrating exploration, and underused Lovecraftian themes leave the experience feeling noticeably underdeveloped.

    Helix: Descent N AscentAug 4, 2026 · Lukáš Murín

Helix: Descent N Ascent is an impressive debut filled with inventive puzzles, striking monochrome visuals, an atmospheric soundtrack, and a mysterious world that rewards careful interpretation. Occasional bugs, repetitive elements, awkward ability switching, and puzzles demanding excessive precision can frustrate, but the overall journey remains deeply satisfying for dedicated puzzle fans.

    Terrinoth®: Heroes of DescentJul 31, 2026 · Michal Svoboda

Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent offers an accessible campaign structure, flexible party building, and tactical battles that make good use of terrain. However, its generic story, uneven character roles, repetitive exploration, and overly drawn-out encounters prevent it from standing out beyond fans of turn-based dungeon crawlers and the original board game.

    Corsair CoveJul 30, 2026 · Lukáš Murín

Corsair Cove successfully connects vertical settlement building, detailed logistics, and naval expeditions into a distinctive and satisfying strategy experience. A poorly explained population system, harsh consequences, and an occasionally excessive reliance on randomness can be frustrating, but the strong systemic depth, lively presentation, and stable technical state outweigh most of its shortcomings.

    Moonlight PeaksJul 29, 2026 · Ondřej Halíř

Moonlight Peaks is a charming and addictive farming simulator that successfully blends cozy gameplay with a delightful supernatural setting, memorable characters, enjoyable side activities, and a genuinely useful magic system. Its slow and somewhat confusing opening, longer loading times, and a few minor design frustrations hold it back slightly, but the game remains an easy recommendation for fans of spooky and relaxing life sims.

Moss: The Forgotten Relic Jul 29, 2026 · Ondřej Halíř

Moss: The Forgotten Relic successfully adapts its charming fairy-tale adventure beyond virtual reality, supported by a lovable heroine, enjoyable environmental puzzles, beautiful locations, and a wonderful soundtrack. Some mechanics lose impact without VR, while repetition and camera issues occasionally frustrate, but it remains a delightful and worthwhile family-friendly experience.

Thick As ThievesJul 19, 2026 · Ondřej Halíř

Thick as Thieves has the foundations of a strong cooperative stealth game, with clever use of light and sound, flexible infiltration routes, enjoyable gadgets, and an atmospheric Dishonored-like world. Unfortunately, just two main locations, repetitive contracts, limited tools, and frustrating time limits make it feel more like the remains of a much more ambitious project than a fully realized adventure.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag ResyncedJul 8, 2026 · Ondřej Halíř

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a beautiful and worthy remake that turns the Caribbean into a breathtaking, living pirate playground, while improved naval combat, new story additions, and smart quality-of-life changes make it the best version of Black Flag yet. Its uneven story still deserved more care, and the revamped combat can get chaotic in larger fights, but this remains the ultimate pirate adventure for both returning fans and newcomers.

Monopoly: Star Wars™ Heroes vs. VillainsJul 3, 2026 · Lukáš Murín

Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains works best as a chaotic family party game, where its strong Star Wars presentation, team-based Heroes vs. Villains mode, character abilities, and unpredictable Dice Battles create plenty of couch multiplayer fun. As a strategic digital board game, however, it is held back by uneven balance, random events that often override good planning, and weaker long-term motivation.

Crushed In TimeJul 2, 2026 · Ondřej Halíř

Crushed In Time is an original and delightfully absurd adventure that keeps its elastic puzzle concept fresh across the whole runtime, thanks to clever ideas, charming characters, strong voice acting, and a playful sense of humor. A few confusing puzzle moments and less comfortable gamepad controls hold it back slightly, but the creativity behind it easily stretches past those flaws.

Atelier Yumia remains a very good game and one of the strongest modern entries in the series, but its Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is a deeply disappointing upgrade. Shorter loading times and cleaner visuals cannot make up for poor frame pacing, stuttering, and the frustrating fact that the original Switch version often feels smoother through backward compatibility.

    AphelionJul 1, 2026 · Michal Svoboda

Aphelion has the look and sound of an ambitious cinematic sci-fi adventure, with a visually striking planet, strong performances, and an excellent soundtrack. Unfortunately, its frustrating climbing, repetitive stealth sections, heavy corridor design, technical bugs, and underwhelming story turn that promise into a slow and often tedious journey.
