How this trust score was computed
Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.
Controversy record: on 11 games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, this reviewer sided with players 5 times.

“Star Wars: Zero Company is an incredible Star Wars experience. The exploration, along with some of the grittier aspects of the Clone Wars, is enjoyable. The moments that happen, which we won’t spoil, are incredible.”

“Overall, it is one of the best farming sims I've played since Stardew Valley, which is saying a lot because I've lost myself in several over the years. I can also say it is probably the closest experience to Stardew Valley I've ever come up against, providing gameplay similar enough to feel like a haunted extension of the same universe, but without the sprite graphics or monsters in the mines. All in all, Moonlight Peaks a great game, and I foresee myself staying lost in it for a good, long time.”

“Vampire Crawlers is a must-buy, but players will want to be prepared to sink some serious time into this title. Like Vampire Survivors, it's hard to put down, and players can easily lose hours to this game if they're not careful.”

“Where Mouse: P.I. for Hire falls slightly short is in its controls, which weren't always as smooth or as responsive as I would have liked them to be. Still, those drawbacks don't take away from how incredible and fun Mouse: P.I. for Hire is. There's no other game quite like it, which is why it's one of 2026's standout games so far.”

“It's hard to believe that Pragmata is coming off the success of Resident Evil Requiem and somehow rivals that game to the same degree of excellence. Even with some repetitive aspects in its structure, every element feels on point. The journey home is emotional and exciting, keeping players engaged from the beginning.”
