How this trust score was computed
Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.
Controversy record: on 10 games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, this reviewer sided with players 5 times.

Outlet vs. players
Each dot is a game both this outlet and players scored. The dashed line is perfect agreement: dots above it mean the outlet was more generous than players, below it more harsh.

- 50CAPTAIN TSUBASA 2: WORLD FIGHTERSAug 31, 2026 · Guillaume Dreher
“They managed to make a team sports game, a game where only one individual counts. Captain Tsubasa 2 World Fighters does not allow to build actions, to make his own team. Looks like Tamsoft wanted to make a mobile game before they realized they had the budget to carry it on the platforms of the moment. The absolute fans of the manga will remain who will find their little pleasure by playing in easy”

“The spin-off Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will have put aside some structuring aspects of the series: the team (a top when you make a game in a bunch of pirates), stealth, a certain discourse about childhood and betrayal. There is still immense work done on writing and dialogues, the credibility of the characters who would have deserved to be put in another context of a labyrinth that will be lived like a corridor. To see if the studio will do another part on Arnaud.”

“In the end, for only €9.99, Heave Ho 2 makes a smashing entry among the party-games that amuse us from the first moments, especially in cooperative mode. Adjusting your gestures, the timing of your actions, with 1 or 3 people, thinking together, it’s still super cheerful. If the mechanics are punitive, the title published by Devolver Digital still invites us to persevere without a headache, and with a smile. Although the game could have done better for its competitive mode, it has some fun sessions between friends.”

“For 20€, Fading Echo offers a rhythmic adventure, punctuated by phases of puzzles featuring multiverses and elements, a demo must always be available if you want to get an idea before going to save Corel. A few frustrating and redundant moments in this adventure around 8 hours while struggling a little or looking for all the pots at XP.”

“It was a daring gamble to offer the Xbox community a campaign of a Halo released at the beginning of the 21st century, but it must be admitted that the result is convincing. The developers managed to keep the Halo spirit while improving the pace and mechanics of the game, keeping intact the pleasure of being able to rediscover the game at 2 locally, even more via online gaming. It lacks the PvP in multi, but otherwise everything is there for the new and the old of the old.”

“On this first half of 2026, Denshattack is the most fun game I’ve played. Spectacular and generous in content, it offers a balanced customizable train system, endearing characters and exemplary accessibility. All he needs is a multiplayer mode to be perfect.”

“Areas for improvement must be put in place for The Mound Omen of Cthulhu. Mainly on quality of life and ergonomics. Unexplained mechanics, chaotic inventory. But the idea is good, the atmosphere also despite a rhythm that can be judged too slow. Still, the quality of your games will reside in your playmates, not won without being accompanied by friends. As it is now, the game is not seen causing an addictive wave.”

“The Adventures of Elliot The Millennium Tales has all of the good “small” playable game on long phases or just the time of a small dungeon or to get closer to the next goal. Driven by an aesthetics now mastered by the teams of Square Enix and Claytechworks and embellished with an anime style for dialogues. The sound part is not on the same level. The overall experience is sympathetic, but can have boring segments, and please silence the fairy.”

“Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is an update to the game released in 2026. We would have liked something more impactful graphically. Only fans can be interested as the competition is fierce and especially above. But the game has the advantage of continuing to support the DOA license.”

“The Drifter has the two main qualities of its kind: to offer a solid scenario and not to propose capillotracted interaction to solve its puzzles. It is also carried by a particularly well-worked artistic direction for the proposed adventure.”

“Zero Parades for Dead Spies offers, like its illustrious predecessor, of which he is not a sequel, a confusing experience on the background and form. An adventure that is not all public, whether in the vector (textual adventure), the means (alcohol, drugs, sex) or the themes (politics, philosophy). Even if it didn’t have a parade, we would have liked to feel a little more spy than a character questioning everything that moves. There remains a story that is solidly written, which I might have appreciated more in a novel.”

“Crushed in Time delivers on its promise of fun, funny and smart hours. The game is clever in its puzzles, gameplay, narration and rhythm and environment breaks. The good surprise of this almost early summer. An end that stretches a little for a game whose principle is to stretch things, after all, why not?”

“Of course, Tour de France 2026 is a simulation that has something to seduce cycling enthusiasts who would like to discover the pleasure of cycling on the Tour for the first time. The mechanics are simple, but effective. We necessarily like to take his team as high as possible, to develop his Pro slowly but surely... Of course, if it were only the first try of Cyanide and Nacon, I would say Bravo! Unfortunately, this is not the case. The title is a continuation of the previous one and offers too few novelties or corrections of the defects that the community emphasizes every year. It’s time to perfect your game, not to replicate it almost the same year after year!”

“007 First Light is very nice to play, very spectacular even if it tends to put us in a spectator seat. An original story-shaped adaptation where charismatic characters and ingredients, who license what it is, are respected. We are curious to see what the suite will offer for this version of 007.”
