How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is a polished action-adventure with an excellent combat system built around precise parries, dodges and enemy interactions. Its boss fights are particularly impressive, while its small open world and linear levels feel somewhat conservative. The story is serviceable, but the satisfying swordplay, strong visuals and superb Spanish voice acting make it highly recommended.

The Blood of Dawnwalker was a very engaging experience during the 18 hours it took me to reach the credits—though it would take much longer if you were to use all the available days and complete more missions. Its strong narrative component helps make the combat challenges feel less tedious.

Beast of Reincarnation suffers from getting trapped in a repetitive loop, failing to deliver the necessary evolution despite an initial combat system that feels genuinely promising. Channeling the spirit of NieR or Dark Souls simply isn't enough for a studio that lacks either the experience or the narrative prowess required to craft a truly compelling story.

Marvel Tokon is a place to stop and admire the fighting game genre for what it is—an entertainment product where animation and art direction serve as the primary hooks.

I thought this remake was unnecessary. After finishing it, I realized that it wasn't meant to replace a classic, but to celebrate it. It does so by honoring every memory we have of Alpha Halo while also adding enough new ideas that even those of us who know the campaign by heart have reasons to go back.

Rhythm Paradise Groove is a breath of fresh air and a fantastic way to revive a highly original and groundbreaking franchise that has already been a hit in past generations. Its minimalist controls prove once again that a great idea needs very little to work when it’s executed with talent. The creativity of its mini-games, the excellent soundtrack, the constant humor, and the inclusion of exciting new features like the brilliant Beatspell make this new installment one of Nintendo’s most intriguing comebacks.

No matter how many times it's been said, it doesn't make it any less true: the core essence of Zelda is present from the very first second of this adventure starring Elliot—who aims for greatness without quite becoming an icon. Yet, it possesses the sheer consistency of being a great ARPG under the pedigree of Team Asano and Square Enix.

    Crushed In TimeJun 16, 2026

Crushed In Time is a fantastic example of how creativity can turn a simple idea into a great visual novel. Its mechanics—based on stretching and manipulating the world—seem limited at first, but they eventually reveal themselves to be a surprisingly versatile toolkit capable of sustaining dozens of hours of puzzles, humor, and experimentation. The overarching narrative is masterfully executed, the characters are charming, and the game’s ability to introduce new ideas is admirable.

    Forza Horizon 6May 20, 2026

Forza Horizon 6 is an absolute beast of a game. Japan is the perfect setting for the series, and Playground Games makes the most of it with a fantastic blend of spectacle, cultural respect, refined driving, and constant exploration. There’s so much content it can be overwhelming, but it rarely feels bloated. There’s always a reason to keep going: a race, a photo, a hidden car, a house, a garage, a mountain route, an online event, a new song, or simply a sunset over Tokyo.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book aims to offer a relaxing, creative, and utterly charming experience where discovery is more important than overcoming challenges. Its blend of exploration, interaction with creatures, and handcrafted visual design gives it a unique and endearing identity. Some veteran players might miss a higher difficulty level or more linear, lengthy, and traditional platforming levels. But once you realize that’s not the game’s intention, it’s impossible not to be swept away by its charm.
