How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

Dark ScrollsJul 7, 2026 · Oscar Garcia Mompean

It's a game clearly built with affection for the character, packed with references for longtime fans and accessible enough for those simply looking for a fun adventure with friends. It's also commendable that Traveller's Tales, with its latest releases, has chosen to tailor the experience to the specific franchise they're working with, as was the case with The Skywalker Saga. Obviously, this has meant a much longer wait for the next game, but it's worth it. That's why, even though 12 years have passed since Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (2014), the Dark Knight has proven he still knows how to make a comeback.

    PhonopolisJun 3, 2026 · Oscar Garcia Mompean

Just like Mario or Sonic, which, if reduced to their bare essentials, are simply games about "jumping on or over things," Amanita Design's game is essentially about touching what's on the screen. And around this simple idea, these point-and-click geniuses have built a work of playable engineering worthy of a high place in the Video Game Hall of Fame, if such a thing exists.

Battlestar Galactica: Scattered HopesMay 15, 2026 · Antonio Ganga

Within the current landscape, and without needing to boast, it ends up positioning itself as one of the most pleasant surprises of 2026, especially for those who value proposals with identity and a more contained approach.

    REPLACEDApr 20, 2026 · Oscar Garcia Mompean

There's much more to Sad Cat Studios' game than simply describing it as a revival of games like Flashback or Another World.

    KAISERPUNKApr 9, 2026

In conclusion, Kaiserpunk is a game with some great ideas and a compelling mix of genres, but it still feels a bit rough around the edges in some areas. It has some excellent moments, especially when you get into the management and expansion loop, but it lacks technical polish and a bit more clarity in its systems. If you enjoy city builders with a global strategic element, it's worth checking out. Just be prepared to put in a few hours to master it; completing the tutorial is highly recommended.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance RemasteredApr 2, 2026 · Antonio Ganga

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered is the perfect example of how to treat a classic with respect and good taste. It doesn't try to be something it's not, but rather reinforces what already worked, corrects what was necessary, and adds just enough to make it relevant today. An essential title for both veterans and those who want to discover one of the most unique sagas in video games.

We are dealing with a thoroughly good game, with its strengths and weaknesses, but one that encourages us to think about a new installment in this saga.

    TimberbornMar 17, 2026 · Antonio Ganga

Timberborn is an original take on the colony management genre that, without reinventing the wheel, manages to give it a very interesting twist focused on water control and vertical construction. It doesn't reach the narrative depth of Dwarf Fortress or the variety of events in RimWorld, but it offers a solid, well-designed experience with a very distinct identity. A more than remarkable debut for Mechanistry.

    Scott Pilgrim EXMar 13, 2026

Scott Pilgrim EX isn't going to go down in history as the game that revolutionized the beat 'em up genre. Nor do I think that's what Tribute Games intended with this title. Ultimately, Scott Pilgrim EX is a game that seeks, first and foremost, to entertain, and it succeeds brilliantly at that. The five hours or so that the game lasts fly by, and I can honestly say I was smiling every single minute of that time, something I can say about very few games.

Tales of Berseria RemasteredMar 9, 2026 · Jorge Cuadri

The Tales of Berseria re-release is Bandai Namco's effort to preserve the original game, making it available on all current platforms and slightly more accessible to modern gamers. A number of quality-of-life improvements streamline the experience, making it the best way to enjoy this title today. If you're a fan of the series and haven't played it yet, you're in luck: don't hesitate and jump right in. And if you haven't tried any Tales Of game yet, it's a fantastic entry point into a series of video games that, once you start, you'll find yourself wanting more.

    The 9th CharnelFeb 26, 2026
