How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

Resonance: A Plague Tale LegacyAug 26, 2026 · Kurt John Palomaria

Resonance is a labyrinth in every sense. Undeniably gorgeous, but far too willing to lead you in circles through one breathtaking ruin after another, deploying fun set pieces along a journey that spends a bit too long in the maze before it finds its way forward.

Mortal Shell IIAug 17, 2026 · Kurt John Palomaria

Mortal Shell 2 is the AA answer to Elden Ring. More focused, no less vicious, and every bit as hard to put down. This land wants you dead, but it rewards every step. So cut down the horrors and don't you dare go hollow.

ReStory: Chill Electronics RepairsAug 6, 2026 · Erickson Melchor

On the surface, ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs can be chill as the title suggests, but dig a little deeper and you find yourself on the sidelines of a thriller movie plot, surrounded by intrigue and people running away from shadowy figures. Gameplay-wise, this is one of the more compelling repair simulators out there, all because it is simplistically elegant in its execution and rewards smart and prudent choices. Moreover, there is some replay value to be had if you wish to try different choices for alternative outcomes. All-in-all, I highly recommend this game for repair sim enthusiasts, and to a lesser extent, mystery thriller story fans.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag ResyncedJul 8, 2026 · Lexuzze Tablante

Thirteen years later, Edward Kenway’s story still stands among Ubisoft’s finest, the Caribbean remains one of the most inviting worlds the series has ever created, and sailing the Jackdaw across open waters is somehow just as difficult to put down as it was the first time. That isn’t just because Black Flag was ahead of its time. It’s because some adventures simply deserve another voyage.

    MixtapeMay 7, 2026 · Kimberly Mae Go

Mixtape is a narrative-driven experience that uses music, atmosphere, and character-driven storytelling to recreate the feeling of growing up in a way that feels deeply personal. It’s mechanically simple, but that simplicity allows its emotional core to stand out, making it one of the most memorable and affecting games in its genre.

The Outer Worlds 2Oct 23, 2025 · Kurt John Palomaria

The Outer Worlds 2 is all that I could’ve ever hoped it would be. Funny, smart, alive. It’s packed with memorable characters, sharp writing, and art direction that’ll stand the test of forever. And just like how Fallout: New Vegas was the better sequel to its predecessor (spare me the pedantry), this feels like a confident step up, even Auntie Cleo would call it character growth.

DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACHJun 23, 2025 · Kurt John Palomaria

But even with its stumbles, Death Stranding 2 stuck with me. It’s messy. It’s over the top. It’s absolutely not for everyone. But it moved me. And for a game about carrying things, that feels like the point. It’s strange. It’s human. It’s heavy. Death Stranding 2 is worth the weight.

DOOM: The Dark AgesMay 9, 2025 · Lexuzze Tablante

DOOM: The Dark Ages easily secures my top spot for this year's best first-person shooter game. While the narrative is somewhat decent but a bit forgettable, the refined progression system and improved core mechanics just make The Dark Ages such an entertaining game to play. Rip and tear, everyone... rip and tear!

    Clair Obscur: Expedition 33Apr 23, 2025 · Erickson Melchor

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a rare triumph for such a small studio. The devs at Sandfall Interactive aimed for the stars, and they delivered a game that JRPG fans have always wanted from a Western studio. I can't recommend this game enough.

    AtomfallMar 24, 2025 · Erickson Melchor

Atomfall tries to incorporate a mix of genre staples but ultimately fails to go in-depth into any one aspect save for its investigations. It is trying hard to punch above its weight class. But like every underdog at the beginning of a boxer movie, it is brought back down to reality by its superiors, in this case, the games it takes inspiration from. The game has potential, to be sure, but in its current state, it leaves a lot to be desired. I recommend you wait for a sale before adding this game to your library. Hopefully, Atomfall can mount a comeback with its upcoming DLC story expansion.

    WWE 2K25Mar 20, 2025 · Conrad Huang

That said, WWE 2K25 is a great game. Despite having an old engine that needs to be updated, its features and modes have truly made me acknowledge how gamers can strive for greatness when playing it. Whether you play online or compete locally, this game is sure to capture the hearts of many gamers, including WWE fans worldwide.

Monster Hunter WildsMar 16, 2025 · Erickson Melchor

Despite a shaky start, Monster Hunter Wilds delivered on the most important thing that matters in a Monster Hunter game: the core gameplay loop. The game is built on a solid foundation, and it is only going to get better from here. However, it needs to be said that the game still suffers from optimization issues to this day, two weeks after launch. Wilds will go down in history as a great Monster Hunter game. How great it ultimately will be remains to be seen. What I do know is that the game is a blast, and I can’t recommend it enough.

    WanderstopMar 10, 2025 · Noel Lontoc

It’s imperfect although I wish there were more things to do and details to explore in this game. It’s not for everyone. If you want a fast-paced or action-packed game, you may need to look elsewhere. This game is all about the quiet moments and the slow deliberate process of healing. It asked me to slow down and reflect, which surprisingly was effective during my play. Wanderstop dared to be different and it succeeded. It reminded me that true strength is not always by yielding a sword but by being brave enough to start over again.

    Split FictionMar 4, 2025 · Lexuzze Tablante

Split Fiction goes beyond just another great co-op game from Hazelight; it reignites the importance of couch co-op. It's a reminder that truly memorable co-op experiences are built in the living room, sharing laughter, brainstorming, and emotional moments together. This game is a grand spectacle of co-op.

    Carmen SandiegoMar 4, 2025 · Juan Gerardo

The game is published by Gameloft, well-known for its mobile games in the mid-2000s, and developed by its Brisbane studio. Although they have then expanded across various platforms and consoles, I have played several games from them and I believe they have done this Carmen Sandiego game quite well.
