How this trust score was computed

Trust blends alignment (40%): does the outlet rank games the way players do; decoded accuracy (30%): after translating the outlet's own scale habits (a '7/10 means mediocre' scale is decoded, not punished), how well its reviews predict player sentiment; and player-side (30%): on games where press consensus and players sharply disagreed, whose side it took. Recent reviews weigh more (2-year half-life), and the blend is shrunk toward a neutral prior (60) so small samples can't peg the scale. Player quality is launch-window Steam sentiment, so outlets aren't punished for reviewing a launch build that later got patched.

    The Sinking City 2Aug 20, 2026 · Scott Hornell

It may not stick the landing but The Sinking City 2 delivers classic survival horror in spades. Intelligent level design, thoughtful puzzles, and a creepy atmosphere make Frogwares’ latest a worthwhile venture into Lovecraftian horror.

Agent 64: Spies Never DieAug 14, 2026 · Joshua Howard

Agent 64: Spies Never Die is about as close as a perfect game can get. It sets out to make a game that is inspired by N64 shooters and does well with flying colors. There are a handful of frustrations, but that does not invalidate the excellent done with the story, the buckets of content, and the classic multiplayer that does not feel outdated at all. Sometimes old dogs do not need to learn new tricks.

    Big WalkAug 11, 2026 · Joseph Shay

I’m certain that over the next few months, and maybe even years, I’ll be sending messages to my friend group to ask, “Who wants to take a Big Walk?”

Halo: Campaign EvolvedAug 3, 2026 · Dylan Shirley

For anyone with Game Pass it may be worth the data to download and play with friends, but to anyone else (including PlayStation faithfuls who have been denied one of gaming’s greats for too long) it’s hard to recommend when the original is packaged with its sequels for notably less.

    TeetoAug 3, 2026 · Joseph Shay

Though it imperfectly echoes 3D platformers of old, and more experienced players may find the gameplay watered down, Teeto is a fantastic title for casual gamers and children alike. A great first game for the kids or for nostalgia-ridden adults like me.

Just having a tangible goal to work toward is a strong enough incentive to do another run in Truck-kun. There’s a lot of potential to be tapped into here and I’d love to see the game gain a more engaging loop past the initial burst of absurdity.

    D-topiaJul 20, 2026 · Joshua Howard

If you love games that focus on characters with puzzles mixed then I think you will enjoy your time in this cozy world. Just don’t expect to be wowed by any revolutionary game mechanics cause you are not finding them here.

WILL: Follow The LightJul 18, 2026 · Joseph Shay

As a short film there may have been something memorable about this story. As a game, it feels like a fluffed up experience with something to say, but takes far too long to say it.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag ResyncedJul 8, 2026 · Chris Melnyk

Although there isn’t any multiplayer or DLC with Resynced, it honestly doesn’t need them to be as addicting and entertaining to play. The game doesn’t feel like a sinking ship. Rather, it feels like a restored beauty taking its rightful place in front of the fleet.

    Black JacketJun 29, 2026 · Colby Windham

It is enjoyable, incredibly fun to mess around with its different build ideas and styles, and in my opinion, for a game like this, very good on the eyes for longer play sessions. Black Jacket feels to me like a game that you could easily get stuck in a “Just one more run” cycle.

    HollowbodyJun 7, 2026 · Dylan Shirley

I hate how harsh this sounds because the truth is Hollowbody is a labor of love. Developer Headware Games seems to be a mostly solo affair and the parts of Hollowbody that work are incredibly impressive. The fact a one man team cannot only produce something so close in tone and intensity to the peaks of the genre and even get it published on console is frankly inspiring. But it just has too many hiccups to come together the way it wants to.

Mina the HollowerJun 5, 2026 · Scott Hornell

Mina the Hollower brings together a comprehensive collection of mechanical influences and visual styles to craft an engrossing, singular 8-bit adventure that delights as much as it innovates.

World of Tanks: HEATJun 3, 2026 · Chris Melnyk

World of Tanks: Heat has a minimal amount of game modes at launch, which limits it a bit. But, with the inclusion of a hero shooter dynamic, the game feels great. It’s taking on something that can be niche even within the iconic genre.

    007 First LightMay 30, 2026 · Adrian Cozmuta

Outstanding production values, thrilling action set pieces, strong performances, satisfying gunplay, and a great technical performance make this an impressive debut for IO Interactive’s 007. First Light earns its license to thrill.

ZERO PARADES: For Dead SpiesMay 19, 2026 · Dylan Shirley

Zero Parades is about being failed. It’s about how your failure affects people you love and how their failures shape you, but beyond that it’s about how the framework we live in prevents us from success.
